Have done quite a bit of breeding my smoking plants. Seeds are overpriced and I’ve gotten 100s from making my own. Needed something to store the seeds and found these. I also purchased seed binder with vials and desiccant beads. Seeds go in these tubes, tube fits in the larger vial from seed binder with desiccant beads. Keeps the seeds very dry and extends shelf life and viability over time. I fit 25 of these seeds into each tube which makes keeping count very simple.

Despite a picture showing 1ml marking inside the bottom of the test tube, there was nothing below the 2ml marking on the outside. So please be aware of this. It is a misleading photo.

I just received today and they are as described and meet my needs. I would recommend to someone needing this type product!

These are just what we needed (though not really 1000 of them) for irradiating plasmid samples. The sample was a very small volume and the irradiation source imposed some size restrictions so the 0.5 ml size is perfect. These tubes are uniform in size and the caps shut securely.
