Rit Dye Powder Color & Rust Remover Great for Crafting DIY Works on Most Fabric Cotton Nylon

Awesome product. Will buy again. Never so satisfied about any products I ever purchased. Easy to use. Worked like magic in seconds without damaging my fabric.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this product truly deserves it. I had a green stain on a white skirt caused by another garment. I tried everything — vinegar, Vanish, several washes — and nothing worked. This was the only product that removed the stain completely. I think it works only (or at least best) on white fabrics, but for that kind of problem it’s excellent.

Absolutely useless on Black 100% cotton! I purchased the 1st one because I wanted to dye a black dress and blouse, it promises to remove colour pre dyeing, I wanted to dye the items purple. Followed the instructions to the letter and put in the washing machine as instructed didn’t remove any colour so decided I would purchase another 4 packs thinking maybe I didn’t use enough, BUT according to the weight ratio the 1st one should have been enough!! See photos for end results after using the 4 packs! Total waste of money and have completely ruined a lovely dress and blouse!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it has cost me near £25 so DISAPPOINTING

Maybe l was just unlucky but it didn't work.

I died a pair of white vans light blue because they had yellow stains on that wouldn’t come out, even with peroxide. They dyed a bit patchy so I used this to strip the colour to start again and after using this my vans are whiter than before I dyed them blue. Very effective stuff. I expect colour theory may have had a part to play too. As they were shoes I didn’t follow the box instructions. Instead I dissolved half a sachet in hand hot water. I put the shoes upside down in a laundry bowl and filled with just enough water to cover the fabric. In the pic you can see a few blue dots still on the sole but the outside was completely stripped. There may be a better method out there cuz they’re taking forever to dry!

I purchased this after using Dylon to dye my cream top dark brown however it came out a dirty grey colour 🤨 Rit dye remover brought my top back to life within 5mins in a pot on the stove. First picture is the damage Dylon dye did and the second was after using Rit 🥰 Plus it was delivered three day early 🥳

Disappointed, in the fine print on the box it says not suitable for blue denim which is exactly what I purchased it for?! It may be useful in the future so it's in my laundry box!.

I used this on some natural/jade colored G10 handle scales that I had dyed using Rit All Purpose Synthetic Dye, and I was pleasantly surprised by the result. The scales had dyed darker than I'd wanted so I would have been satisfied if this powder had simply lightened the color, but it actually removed almost every trace and restored them to nearly their original state. The only color that didn't come out was a small area around the hole where the pivot screw seats, and I think this was because the pivot had scored the epoxy of the G10, which allowed the dye to slightly seep in between the layers of fiberglass. In any case, the leftover color was barely visible. I can't speak to how well this works on fabric, but if your knife scales dye project didn't turn out the way you'd hoped, this stuff will effectively erase the mistake and let you try it again.

This product worked like a charm, and I used only 1 packet instead of 2 as suggested by the included instructions from the manufacturers. It was delivered on time as suggested.

If I can give it 10 stars out of 5 I would. This product is simply amazing. My daughter wears navy blue turban and it got into the load of her whites and light colors by mistake and the result was a load full of navy blue clothing. I was devastated. Tried everything before ordering the product and I have zero regrets. I am delighted. Would recommend it to everyone and anyone looking for removing dye bleed from white colors. I am definitely keeping it stocked from now on.

Garbage on removing grey from whites. Did not work at all.
