like having a longer arm, easily handles a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood

Flooring my attic and needed help in carrying sheets of plywood upstairs. This carrier works great. Makes carrying so much easier. Very strong and sturdy. Need to assemble with one screw and nut. Great value and should last a lifetime.

This is now a toolkit indispensable! I'm just not able to horse a sheet of cement board without it. With this and maneuvering carefully, I can carry full 4x8 sheets of cement board with no problems. I looked at other carriers but the long handle was the main selling point and I believe I wouldn't have the same carrying stability with the shorter handled models. Plus most of them seem to be made of plastic and I'm thinking they might not hold up so well when carrying cement board sheets.

This worked so well for carrying the sheets of drywall. I don’t know how we’d have gotten along without it.

This item is durable and sturdy, it works as stated..however this item could be made better...1st the screws,that attach the handle to the holding frame, will come loose after several uses,because there's no nut,to secure the screw, so movement is prevented...2nd if you were to make improvements, in this area you must replace the screws with longer screws, which would allow you to attach 2 nuts...this would give you more stability...3rd the handle should be longer, and extended out more from the item,you are carrying.

I'm giving one star because I received a used item with only one screw that is stripped out thanks guys appreciate it

After a trip to the hardware store it works fine. Not included the bolts was a frustrating oversight.

Annoying. It arrived with the parts in a plastic bag which didn't survive the shipment. Luckily, the locking bolts were still there but one washer "escaped" the huge hole in the plastic bag. I would suggest that the manufacturer tape the bolts and washers to the shank long with the crossbar in future. Better to have to cut them free prior to installation rather than have to source the missing parts. The bolts fit through the shank and screw into the crossbar so it doesn't need locking nuts and they need to be filed down so as not to rip into the drywall/sheetrock board being carried. Details, maybe, but they are important details.
