Grat product. Well made and does an excellent job sealing mylar food bags. I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to keep long term food storage.

This was exactly what I needed. A simple manual bag sealer. I’ve been throwing away so much food and with the cost of groceries I had to find a way to save money. Even putting it in a ziplock does nothing to preserve the food. I read some reviews saying the unit burnt out. But if you read the instructions clearly, it says you can only use for 5 seconds at a time with a 10 seconds rest in between. Maybe some people are using it commercially and it’s not built for that. As you can see I’m only sealing 1 thing at a time. For example, even with a chip clip, my flour bags were spilling all over the place. I just sealed this bag, and the bag was a little thick so I put a heat setting of 4 and it sealed it perfectly. I’m so happy with my purchase!

I ordered in Nov and got a used one. The power cord was visibly burnt . They replaced the unit. I have sealed 6 bags with this sealer, now it won’t even turn on. I went thru the troubleshooting they have listed here and nothing… I do not recommend…. SAD

The first one I ordered have been opened and was spent so I sent it back for a replacement which was excellent. With the adjustable dial you can get the correct setting to seal almost any thickness of plastic sheet.

La necesitaba y me gustó bastante, la tela protectora que trae se gasto (quemó) muy fácilmente aún que no la he usado en temperaturas altas, lo bueno q trae repuestos, pero deben comprar más repuestos para tener a la mano.

But this for doing bag ceiling after vacuum sealing to bring down the size of the bags themselves. Has run through probably over 200 bags so far and still going strong with no issues. The initial little bit of out-of-box setup was required. To find the specific point where it did the best job with the size of ceiling band that was on it. Will definitely buy this again should it ever decide to fail.
