When I first opened the box I was worried there would be a lot to put together or difficult directions. I was pleasantly surprised that there was nothing to put together, and the directions were super easy! Just put the balloon in and pump it up. I did lose suction for some reason, maybe it wasn't tight enough in there, so the water did overflow, but I just pumped it back up and it was fine. The squishy itself is super satisfying, the balloon doesn't feel like it will burst easily and my daughter absolutely loves it! Kudos to Doctor Squish! The only thing I would change is the little plastic clasps that keeps the squishy closed, please give those to us already open. They are difficult to pry open.

This is such a fun toy! It doesn’t come with very good glitter or shapes or additives but we used our own of that stuff and these are so pretty and fun. Some things to know ahead of time: open the clips up before you actually make a squishy, when adding things to your balloon you have to periodically blow the balloon up more because it starts to lose its air when taking a while to add various glitters and shapes, this would be a difficult thing for a kid to do really an adult needs to be the one attaching the balloon and then adding the water and powder and then removing the balloon so that it doesn’t make a huge mess. My five year old was in charge of picking out and adding all the glitters and shapes and she did some pumping of the air but otherwise I did the rest to avoid a huge mess. We have already ordered a refill pack so that we never run out of the stuff we need to make more. As long as an adult is in charge it’s not overly messy. Overall this is so fun and I would definitely purchase it again!

Dr Squish advertises to children via her plethora of videos on kids YouTube. My kid asked Santa for her branded squishy maker. Santa delivered. We watched many videos to prepare for this exciting adventure. Being that he’s five, I assisted in every way and followed every direction. We even watched the trouble shooting videos. This is an absolute garbage, mess making, promise breaking toy. We were successful in making our first squishy using Kinetic sand and a bit of water. This one is actual almost two weeks old and still holding. The others were not successful and now I will be cleaning orbies from tiny crevices in my kitchen for years to come. Problems…. Clasps do not hold. When you squish and pressure builds up behind the clasp they can burst open. When twisting to get ready to clasp the seal breaks on the cap and insides explode everywhere. Squishy skin can be pulled through clasp as the rounded top deteriorates with time and squishes. Squishy skin has pin prick sized holes and leak. My son is devastated. I told him I’d write to Santa, to see what can be done, because you can’t even buy the skins and clasps to keep trying. I don’t really mind the mess. I’m a messy girl, but the look on my kids face when I told him we have nothing left to experiment with, broke my mama heart. So disappointed.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. I was skeptical of the purchase but was surprised to find the simplicity of the design and quality of the items to make the squishees were great. The balloons were thick and easy to work with. The included additives were fun. We even went down to our own craft supplies and added a few ribbons and pom poms to her second squishee. So far the included clips have stood the test of the squish. With that, the clips are hard for little hands to open and place around the opening. An adult with strong hands needs to help with those. Overall, a fun gift that she will go back to!

Our 3-year-old son loves the Doctor Squish: Squishy Maker! Even though it's recommended for ages 8 and up, he enjoys making and decorating his own squishies with the glitter, confetti, sparkles, and colored ink. The only downside is that the clips are a little leaky and pop off sometimes, but we've managed to avoid any major catastrophes so far. Overall, it's a fun and creative activity that keeps our son entertained and engaged. Highly recommend for any young squishy enthusiasts!

So, this thing makes somewhat good squishies, but the outside of the squishies kind of rips apart a bit and it’s not long lasting. It is fun though.

Tenía mis dudas al comprarlo pero como mis hijos son fans de este canal, aman los squishes, pensé que sería buena idea. Trae lo básico y las instrucciones se ven sencillas que hasta niños de 4-5 años pudieran hacerlos solos, Peeero a diferencia del tutorial de YouTube , la pieza blanca donde se voltea el globo para introducir la decoración del aqui squishee, no se inserta como en el video, hay que estarlo sosteniendo porque es más chico que la boca del tubo…y lo más importante, en los videos quién usa el squishee es un adulto y sabe cómo moverlo, en la realidad con un Niño, lo mueve por todas partes y un clip de plástico barato está lejos de ser garantía de que todo se quede adentro del globo. Es más fácil hacerlos con los globos de colores que viene que con los transparentes, pero no, no lo recomiendo en absoluto. A lo mejor para personas que gustan de las manualidades y son muy pacientes, pueden hacer algunas adaptaciones y ajustes, pero para los que no somos buenos en estos temas, no es tan práctico como lo hacen ver, no duran en manos de niños pequeños ni 2hrs.

Kids love doctor squish!! Big hit. Comes with plenty of balloons to make multiple squishies. Can get very messy if don't get it right when you go to tie it up after it's been all filled. All good fun though otherwise. Have purchased as birthday gifts for friends and refill kits for own kids. Big hit
