Lovely play set. My daughter received this for Christmas and was absolutely delighted and still is. The figures are excellent quality. In my opinion, spending a little more money on Schleich products are well worth it as the quality and workmanship are excellent and realistic. The figures are a great size with the younger wolves being in proportion to the adult

I got the Schleich Mother Wolf and Baby Wolf Pups figurine set for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it. The detail is fantastic—the mother wolf and two pups are sculpted realistically, with textured fur, expressive features, and good scale. It’s clearly high quality, and the feel of the figures shows that Schleich doesn’t just make toys, they make well-crafted play pieces. Watching her play, she set up little stories with the wolf family, had them “howling” and exploring, and it opened up imaginative play in a way I really like to see. The pieces are sturdy enough that she uses them often, and they pair well with her other animal/figurine sets. The set is just the right size for her hands and for fitting into her animal-play scene. That said, there are a few things to note. Although the figures themselves are strong, the set comes with just three pieces (the mother and two pups), so if your child loves wolves or wants a big pack, you might soon want additional wolf or forest-animal figures to expand the scene. Also, while the realism and detail are wonderful, the price is higher than simpler plastic animal toys—so you’re paying more for quality. Finally, because the details are fine and sculpted, they require a little more careful handling compared to chunkier toy figures—rough play may eventually show wear or small chips. Overall, this is a terrific set for a child who loves animals—especially wolves—and someone who appreciates good design and durability. I’d definitely recommend it for imaginative play and display, and I feel comfortable rating it about 4.5 stars out of 5.

Schleich never fails to deliver when it comes to quality, realistic animal figurines. My children love to play wolf pack games and they all love this wolf family. It includes a mother wolf with her two cubs. The detail and craftsmanship are lovely with this realistic set. The texture and the painting job are gorgeous. They are durable and great for imaginative hands-on play.
