MOSDART Waterproof 128GB USB2.0 Flash Drive, exFAT Metal Memory Stick with Keychain, for System Back, Data Storage, Titan Gray(Pack of 2)

I ordered a 10 pack of the Mosdart 64GB USB drive in December 2023 to complete a photo compilation project that I was going to give as Christmas gifts to family members. Due to some health issues, I was unable to start the project until this past year, (2024). The project comprised approxiately 21,000 files, (40GB) of photos and videos and these drives had the capacity to easily handle that amount of data. During the data transfer process, two of the ten drives would not accept data after copying only 2-3%. The process was stopped and restarted on these two drives after clearing all cache and ram files from the drives and pc and again, the drives failed to accept data beyond the amount noted above. Additionally, I tried reformatting the two failed drives in exFAT and experienced similar results. The two failed drives were unusable and did not meet the 64GB capacity expected. Additionally, the remaining eight drives experienced extremely slow write speeds even though my computer has an SSD. Each transfer was a few hours to complete. According to the Mosdart packaging, these products manufactured in 2023 and are covered by a five year warranty. Since I could no longer submit a return to Amazon due to the original purchase date, I reached out to the maufacturer Mosdart directly to request two replacement drives. I was not looking for any refund at that point, I just wanted replacement drives to complete my project. Although myself and Amazon have tried to contact Mosdart to resolve this issue, they have failed to respond to this request. I am disappointed that they have chosen to disregard or honor their published warranty and had they contacted me, I would have gladly returned the defective drives at my expense. I frequently purchase storage drives, usb's and microSD cards for various projects and will reconsider my options when doing so in the future.

Tiene una gran capacidad de almacenamiento, su tamaño es muy práctico y permite ponerle el llavero de tu preferencia. Me gustó mucho y me resulta muy útil.

Funktionierte zunächst sehr gut, aber nach nur 3 Monaten täglicher Nutzung war der Stick von einer Sitzung auf die andere kaputt und nicht mehr benutz- oder bespielbar, obwohl er nie schädlichen Einflüssen (Schmutz, Stößen oder gar Witterung) ausgesetz war, sondern nur im Büro lag. Enttäuschend.

I like these USB thumb drives. They are durable and thin. I travel to various manufacturing plants working on robots. Some thumb drives don't work or won't be recognized in the robot. These work well. Also many thumb drives have a plastic housing that is too thick to fit the recessed port on the robot teach pendants. These are thin enough to fit and work great.

Very compact. Won’t block your other USB ports.
