BANDAI Hobby #17 RG Wing Gundam Zero EW Model Kit (1/144 Scale), BAN194380, Multi

I've been dabbling with gunpla for a while (although that doesn't make me any *good* at it), having purchased some 1/100 HG kits many years ago. I recently started adding a few more kits to my small collection, and bought all five original Gundam Wing suits in 1/144 HG. Price for quality, they were as expected - but the design is lacking a lot of detail, and is quite dated. And then I came across the much more recently designed RG 1/144 Wing Zero and it. is. stunning. It's a little more expensive, but *far* more detailed and complex. The major upgrade being the inner frame/skeleton, taken from the Master Grade designs (which is also designed with all the parts necessary to built the skeleton on one sprue). If you're looking for an amazing looking 1/144 kit, with a step above HG in terms of complexity, the RG series is the one for you. (Up until I opened the box, I wasn't sure, but now I definitely have to get the Seraphim display kit for this!)

It takes some patience to build but when you invest the time and effort, the turn out is amazing .

then the model is fantastic. a little difficult for those who are beginners with this type of kit. but nice. the only problem is the joints. they are very fragile. as soon as you change position an arm or foot or feathers come off. in short, nice but complicated. you have to leave it in a static pose and that's it after you finish it.

Present for my son 10th birthday ! A really good RG gundam, Can’t believe that my son could build an RG kit because he usually build HG kits. Really satisfied with this reliable brand~BANDAI Looks fabulous, really detailed and good quality.*tip is need a gundam building kit to build it* Would recommend this to Gundam fans and for people who love building model kits.

The kit was really well made, the joints held up pretty well. Didn't like the stickers that much. Was pain in the ass to apply, especially the eyes. I am really grateful for the speedy delivery. It arrived earlier than the expected. :) Nice kit overall

Gundam Wing è una delle poche serie giunte fino in Italia e, sebbene rovinata da un doppiaggio atroce, ha regalato alcune immagini iconiche agli appassionati di anime giapponesi. Direttamente dall'OVA Endless Waltz, il Wing Zero Custom ė sicuramente uno dei Gundam più caratteristici, con le sue grandi ali angeliche. Il kit è di classica qualità Bandai, con pezzi ben profilati e incastri solidi. Imprescindibile tuttavia un minimo di conoscenza base sui Gunpla e gli strumenti necessari (tronchesi da modellismo e bisturi per rifiniture), nonché TANTA pazienza. La scala 1/144 implica pezzi molto piccoli e delicati, nonché microscopici adesivi che richiedono obbligatoriamente delle pinzette. Incantevole, ma non per principianti del modellismo. Pressoché obbligatorio l'acquisto di una basetta da posa (Action Base), in quanto le ali sbilanciano all'indietro il modellino.

I got this as a gift and it was a huge hit. It was the exact Gundam they’d been wanting to build and they were super excited when they opened it. The kit looks really sharp and detailed in person and the packaging was clean and intact. It showed up on time and was everything I hoped it would be for a solid gift. Would definitely grab another model from this line in the future. Was totally worth the value and perfect size for a desk toy. Being a RG this was a little more difficult for them to put together, but still was great. Colors were vibrant!

Pretty cool, fun to build. I had never built any gunpla before now so this was my first, and I'm already addicted. Pretty cool kit if you like Wing Zero custom. Hands and head were kinda loose, but a bit of grey paint around the joints fixes that easily. Not too difficult to build either, just takes a bit of patience.
