Misleading Wording But Very Good Otherwise.
When I purchased this I wanted a quick charger for my Samsung S8, so I went ahead and ordered it. I tried it on my Samsung wireless quick charger and it did not work. I then tried directly to the phone with the Samsung charging cable and still didn't work. I then decided to read the listing again and because it says it is a quick charger I thought it would be but as I read on I noticed it says "Not Compatible With Qualcomm" This bit should have been more clearly printed on the header but not everyone would see it and like many of us thought it was a qualcomm quick charger but we are wrong. This is a 27W 4 port charger and will allow you to have 4 phones/tabs on charge at the same time without losing power. But when I realised it was not a quick charger and although it did say it was, I knew there were a lot of people reading this wrong. I did have an email from Anker apologising for the confusion and they did say they are going to forward the messages to the powers that be. Let us all hope they can make the wording clearer and make us all realise in BOLT TYPE that it is not a quick charger for the Samsung S8 etc. The charger itself is a darn good charger for charging more than one phone and up to 4 phones without losing power so for that and for the kindness of Anker sending me a replacement (after I sent it back) that will be a fast charger for my Samsung S8 and giving me my money back is and was a good gesture and very kind. I cannot fault Anker really and I do buy a lot of Anker products and I will carry on buying Anker products as it is one of the best brands on the market today. It is just a simple wording fault that needs changing so everyone can understand that this is not a Qualcomm Quick charger and just a powerful ordinary charger for ordinary phones. I must however say thank you to Anker for understanding and I hope they can now get this wording sorted out so all you buyers know it is not a Qualcomm QC. For all the quick help and understanding from Anker I will now give 5 stars and well done Anker, please keep up the fantastic after sales support.

Now we just need a USA adaptor for this
This arrived in plenty of time for a quick trip to Spain that we'd planned and meant that we only needed this one charger (with EU plug attached) rather than a number of chargers each with a UK to EU converter plug. Far less to pack! Then when we got back we just changed it back to the UK plug and it's now in use in our bedroom to charge iPads, Kindles and phones etc., again it's meant that we can pack away a number of individual chargers and we're not fighting over any spare plugs now. It's very quick with just one device plugged in, pretty quick with two and seemed ok with three. We've not had all four on the go so far and probably never/rarely will, but so far so good. It's not what you could call small , but actually it's not too big and it certainly takes up a lot less space and weight than 4 individual chargers and EU converter plugs, so it will be invaluable on future overseas trips. Perhaps it now needs Anker to produce a converter plug for this that works for the USA? I'd not really taken much note of other Anker products that we've bought over the years, but I have started to see them about the house now. We tend to look for value for money (not just the cheapest) and the better reviewed products, so thinking about it now, I'm not surprised that we've opted for other Anker products. Well made and work well for a reasonable price.

Very good quality charger, with reservations
I bought this charger so that we could charge up multiple devices at once, and it comes with UK and EU adaptors. This is very useful when travelling, as it reduces the number of chargers you need to take, and there isn't a queue to get your device charged. As a charger it handles any device (or devices) we have thrown at it and works fine (this includes iPhones, iPads, Kindles and Android devices) with no over long charging times. The downside is, the unit itself is quite heavy (approx 140g) which gives it a solid feel, but also tends to pull downwards on the wall outlet, so when you come to unplug your USB cable (with the UK adaptor fitted), you have to hold the unit to prevent unplugging the whole thing, not a major issue, just a bit annoying. However, with the EU adaptor fitted it is more of a problem, as the design has the 2 pin EU plug sitting horizontally (most of the sockets I have seen are vertical. in Italy, at least, I don't know about the EU as a whole) so the weight will be twisting the unit in the socket over time. It still works fine, but an adaptor with the pins sitting vertically may have been a better idea. Overall though, a very good quality, versatile charger.

Good Travel charger
So handy I bought a 2nd one. Ok so by today’s modern standards this isn’t a high wattage charger BUT for my needs this does an excellent job of charging 4 devices at home with the UK plug when at home from a single outlet. This unit comes into its own when travelling to Europe, the ability to swap the plug from UK 3 pin to EU 2 pin means there are no adapters needed, which I have found in the past always seem to get very hot. Due to the design it’s much more secure/stable in the EU power outlets than a uk charger with an adapter. No need to take loads of different plugs for different devices, just take the required amount of charging leads and this. Compact enough to fit in a bag, good value and charges multiple devices at once from one power outlet.

Better quality at a slightly higher price
Never have an issue with Anker, products are generally of a good quality and feel premium, this item no different, yes cost a little more but it’s definitely good quality
