bought for a lighter reel when ice fishing BOQ. a little light and the quality is so so. i only use occasionally when i down size my lures to catch the light biting eyes.

Smooth and sturdy. I will use this with 10 pound braided line and a 4-6 pound leader. And pair it with my 13 foot noodle rod. Very pleased. I think I am a Okuma guy now.

One of the few reels that have a tactical/military green and go with a Savage Gear SG4 . The 1000 size has a deep spool.
