Just to say - if you are a bit disorganised and time poor like me, then this stuff works in 5 hours! It was for a bath/shower drain. My usual hair clearing technique wasn’t working. I did shake the bottle and chucked the whole lot down (unintentional!) but did the trick! Would buy again.

Worked slowly, and not particularly aggressively, but got rid of a bunch of slime and gunk in the pipes. Used this when the sink in my motorhome wouldn't drain properly - it has very narrow pipes and weird pipework, because it's a vehicle, and I didn't want to use strong acid or alkali because I don't know how they'll affect the waste water tank. Left this stuff in overnight, and then flushed it through and plunged it again, and it made a good job of clearing out the slimy stuff that grows in pipe bends that never drain. There's quicker, harsher chemicals if you just want to burn through a blockage ASAP, but to keep things running smoothly this seems like a less dangerous option. Probably best used as routine maintenance to reduce build up before it has a chance to clog, rather than emergency unblocker.

Works well to get rid of hair, soap, residue in shower, sinks, bath. Leave it to work overnight.

Only used once, just received this product. Worked brilliantly.

Just doesn't work, unfortunately - shame as I would like to use eco friendly products more.

The instructions do tell you to shake it, but they are written in a font one micron high, and the bit where it tells you to shake it is separated from the bit where it tells you everything else, and I did this last thing at night. The upshot is that I put 300ml down my slowly draining shower waste without shaking, left it for ten hours, and it did absolutely nothing - even less effective than putting Keir Starmer down there. I tested with a bit of toilet paper afterwards and there was still black mould right at the top of the pipe. The next day I shook the bottle vigorously and put 400ml down, left it for 20 hours, and it’s worked. They should put 'Shake well before use' in large friendly letters on the front of the bottle, so you don’t miss it. That still wouldn’t make it smell nice, but I think the bad smell is a fair exchange for not killing all the fish and so forth.
