Compact, Reliable, and Easy to Use!
I recently purchased the TP-Link 150 Mbps Wireless Nano USB Adapter, and it has been a fantastic addition to my setup. Firstly, the compact size is a major plus. The Nano design allows it to be plugged in without blocking other USB ports, and it's discreet enough to leave connected to my laptop without any inconvenience. The setup was incredibly straightforward. I simply plugged it in, installed the necessary drivers, and was connected to Wi-Fi within minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the process hassle-free. In terms of performance, this little dongle delivers solid and reliable internet connectivity. Operating on the 2.4 GHz band, it provides a stable connection with good range, even in areas of my house where the signal can be weak. The 150 Mbps speed is sufficient for everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and video calls. Overall, the TP-Link Wireless Nano USB Adapter is an excellent choice for anyone needing a quick and effective Wi-Fi solution. Its compact size, ease of use, and reliable performance make it a great value for the price.

Tiny and useful. Working with Debian 7, Windows XP, and Windows 7 64-bit
I bought the TP-LINK TL-WN725N Nano adapter for its wireless N capability as my Asus EeePC 1001P only has wireless b/g built-in and I recently bought a TP-Link TL-WDR3600 N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit CABLE Router...

Not for everyone :-(
Overall a great product but didn't quite fit for me being a Linux user as it was hard to find a driver that supported wpa3. Works great with personal wifis but not bigger network ones. Sort of my mistake as well not checking the drivers availability in advance as I was mislead by Linux keyword in the title of the product which made me assured that it'd work.

The little USB stick that turned my WiFi from a donkey into a racehorse
I plugged this tiny gadget in, and suddenly my laptop went from struggling to load emails to streaming HD videos like it had just discovered caffeine. The high-gain antenna looks small but works like a champ—picking up signals from across the house without breaking a sweat. Dual-band means I can hop onto 5GHz for speed or 2.4GHz for range, and both run smoother than my attempts at home DIY. Installation was quick, painless, and didn’t require a degree in computer science. Within minutes, I was browsing, gaming, and video-calling without the usual pixelated “robot voice” interruptions. It’s compact, reliable, and makes any old device feel instantly upgraded. Honestly, this dongle is the WiFi equivalent of giving your tech a strong cup of coffee and a motivational speech. If you’re tired of lag, buffering, or watching that loading wheel spin endlessly, this little stick is a game-changer.

Did what I wanted, no setup needed.
I bought this because my Dell Latitude 5320 had an annoying intermittent problem where Win11 would disable the built-in driver. A [Windows expert] friend of mine once showed me how to bypass it but the steps were not simple and I had already ordered this by then. So the next time it happened, I dug out this gadget, which I had been carrying around in my bag just in case. I looked at the enclosed setup CD and wondered how that was going to be any use to me and then, to my delight, the dongle started working a few seconds after I plugged it in - no setup, it just started working. I was also pleased to see that the laptop recognised it as a WiFi adaptor and just switched to using that but retained all its saved connection details so it connects to whatever router I had already configured using the [now defunct] built-in adaptor without having to reconnect and re-enter WiFi password. The small size means I can leave it plugged in, even when carrying in my case, just need to make sure that end is facing upwards in my rucksack so the dongle doesn't bang on the floor if I put my bag down hard.

Tiny, amazing and works on a Linux distro
I ditched Windows10 on my old laptop and installed Linux Mint. The WiFi driver installed by Mint did not work so I bought one of these as recommended by an AI chatbot. After a bit of rebooting it was up and running. The range is limited but amazing for such a tiny device and works well within the house and even picked up a couple of the neighbours networks albeit at low strength. Tip... With Linux its advisable to disable the existing driver.

Just didn't work
I bought TP-link as they're a trusted, established brand expecting no false over bloated claims and nice straightforward usage: but no luck! For reference I'm very capable technically speaking. I've been building, configuring PCs since before Windows 95. We have 5 PCs and 3 laptops in my house. So I generally know what I'm doing. I could not get this to work. The supplied driver CD is of little use to 99% of users. However Windows does automatically recognise and install a driver for it (dated 2016 I believe) and it seems to work except it couldn't see my WiFi network. Every other device does including phones and tablets in this part of the house (which is close to the router, next room same floor). There's no specific link to this exact product on their website, it's just a general link to their homepage. Still it's not that hard to locate the drivers in the UK section even though they seemed pretty old (2018, 7 years old). Installed and it saw the WiFi but refused to connect. First time it said "cannot connect" and 2nd attempt crashed the computer. Then tried the US version of the drivers, newer, dated 2020 I believe. The installer locked up at 90%, just sat there even after 20 minutes it wouldn't proceed. Still you can easily point Windows to the driver files and it happily installs them. This saw the network, allowed me to connect but then reported there wasn't any internet available. Then I tried the International drivers which were newer, 2021 I believe. These saw the WiFi but refused to connect; the same issue as the UK driver. After more than an hour of faffing around (maybe 2 hours) it was all completely pointless. Why would they supply a CD in 2025? Why not a USB stick or memory card? Why a link to the homepage of their website and not this specific product? What was the point in sticking to a brand name if it's this much hassle? In addition the version number (critical for driver downloads) is not written on the device itself. There's lots of information printed on there but not this crucially important part! Thankfully it's on the sticker on the box so DO NOT THROW THIS AWAY! For reference this is Version 3 (V3.0) of the TL-WN725N(EU).

Working well for my laptop
Nice and compact for use in a gaming laptop. I was unsure when reading other reviews about connectivity issues whether this would solve my problem of a defective wireless LAN card but, so far I have been impressed. Since logging into the network I use it has connected each time I turn my laptop on and there has been no noticeable drop in my internet connection speed.
