A flavorful mix of nuts and other inclusions that are somewhat unusual. The mix is primarily coated peanuts, sesame, almonds, cashews, fried corn kernels, corn pillows and dried olives with less than 2 percent consisting of seasonings along with pomegrante and chickpeas. Note if possessing sensitivities or allergies in addition to the items noted above the mix contains wheat flour so it is not gluten-free and may contain pistachios, hazelnut, macadamia nut, coconut, milk, egg and soy. There are approximately 1 2/3 cups in the 6.2 ounce pouch. Salty and fresh tasting these things are subjective but I like the flavor of the mix. The seasoning is well-balanced and overall the result is a delicious crunchy snack. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in January 2024 the expiration date is 11 months in the future but dates will vary.

I ordered the Mediterranean blend of nuts and they’re very tasty, making them a perfect afternoon crunchy snack. I don’t know why, but I need crunch in the afternoon; it perks me up. The nuts in the mix are almonds and peanuts - the ingredients list says cashews as well but there weren’t any in mine. Maybe they add one or two on average per bag so some don’t have any. Still, they have a really good flavor and I love the dried olives in them. There are a lot of corn pillows and fried corn and everything has a wheat-based coating. They come in a resealable bag which I like to preserve freshness - but they won’t last all that long anyway since I can’t stop eating them! There are 5 servings per bag and each serving has 170 calories, 12 grams of fat, 180 mg of sodium, 6 grams of protein, and 11 grams of carbs of which 3 are fiber and 2 are sugars.

The Mediterranean mix is incredibly tasty. This snack manages to balance being flavorful with being filling. I can eat a handful of this mix, and it tastes great, but I don't feel like I need to eat it all in one sitting. It's an excellent snack to keep on the desk while you're working from home. I had no issues with accidentally overeating this, one handful is a great portion, and it was delicious. I don't usually care for olives, but the dried olives in this mix have a soft texture, so they're not overly crunchy, and I appreciate that. The assortment is nice, even the kids liked this mix. I'd definitely buy this again. This mix has good quality ingredients and they know what they're doing - no joke, this is one of my favorite snack mixes now. Not overly sweet or salty, it's just tasty.

I tried out the Mediterranean mix to compare it to a mix I buy from my local Middle Eastern market. It's fine, but nothing special and kind of expensive for the amount you end up getting. There is something in the mix that has a more bitter flavor, I think it's one of the peanut coating flavors. The other flavors may be better, but for the Mediterranean mix, I'd keep buying my mix from my local market over purchasing this.

Most of this package (I ordered the Mediterranean flavor version) consists of coated peanuts of the sort commonly seen in Japanese snack mixes, along with a small number of almonds and cashews, a few dried olive slices, what looks like some sort of Chex cereal, salt, and a few herbs and spices. It’s not overly salty, or strongly flavored. My overall impression was “eh.” I’d rather have a nice mixed nuts assortments and maybe add my own seasonings.
