Good for Heavier Work
I have three oscillating tools: a 12v Milwaukee cordless, a 20v DeWalt cordless, and this one. The Milwaukee is easiest to manage, but it’s useless for all but the lightest jobs, and I wouldn’t buy it again. The DeWalt — like most of their stuff — is a nice tool. For most jobs, like making flush cuts in molding, it’s great. But for heavier work, you really need the power of a corded motor. My last corded oscillating tool was a Rockwell Sonicrafter X2 (which I would not buy again). The Sonicrafter had good power, but also has a design flaw — a chip on the circuit board that breaks looks from its solder joints and causes intermittent operation. And the circuit board is covered in epoxy, so it’s pretty much impossible to repair. There are YouTube videos about this, if you’re interested. Anyway, I bought this Jorgenson tool to replace the Rockwell. What I use it for is heavier jobs where the DeWalt takes too long, like making flush cuts in pressure-treated decking. The Jorgenson will do in a minute or two what takes much longer with the DeWalt. As other reviewers have noted, it does get hot — but if you’re doing work like this, you should be wearing gloves anyway. I haven’t used it for anything other than cutting, and probably won’t. But the blade change mechanism works well, and the supplied soft case, while not super luxurious, keeps everything in order. Overall, I think it’s good value, especially with the coupon. One other note … I started out using the blade marked as being for metal or wood, since I figured that I would need to cut off some nails. The blade wore down after a half dozen nails and I replaced it with an aftermarket titanium blade. So I wouldn’t bother with the blades that are supplied with the tool.

Get one, it's a great and handy power tool
Great quality and top performance. I cut brick and mortar like butter with a diamond grit blade (purchased separately). The flat blade with fine teeth cuts hard plastic polymers well too. Every time I think to use it, I get more impressed. It's easy to control and makes custom angled cuts, getting into places a jig saw cannot. Storage bag and zippers are top rate too, where other brands cheap out. Thank you Jorgensen for exceeding expectations and producing quality products.

Exceptional product. Great value.
I use both electrical and battery-powered tools. I like both of them for their individual capabilities. Corded tools are and always will have much more sustained power. Jorgensen has variable speeds suitable for any job. And it came with a protective carrying case with various blades. I've already used it on multiple projects, and have had nothing but a positive experience to date.

Controled Brute Force @5°. Tricky but EFFECTIVE
The tool's a little heavy. but, very solid! The feel of quality. A soft start feature helps put a 5° "big-bite" oscillate to work. Detented dial in speed control isn't real clearly defined, but seems better with use. better now. I absolutely would buy more. In fact, tho I thought 5° swing was gonna be cake right from the start. Actually That's the tricky part... The soft start and light pressure @ first helps, once you're on your line, yur target, or get it plugged into the groove. Roll on some controlled pressure, keeping in you're intended cut line- it goes like the wind, leave your started cut, and lead or trail a corner of the blade...as to draw a deep scratch where yur layout line was. Now, staying in the scratch, back up to the deep started cut...and plunge , seesaw your scratch line to a deep, deeper cut. ¼ to ⅓ the way square your progress up, to achieve the final desired result. The quick change blade feature, just might be the best I've seen & used... it just works! Right now, every time, any position, secure, fast, and positive engagement. Plus. not intrusively large, not keeping you out of the tight spots. All in all~ quite the tool! FIVE degrees is a major asset when sanding, just hold the Speed Down, it's Hard on the hook n loops so I like it very solid a little loud but there's a lot going on there the gearbox and everything feels solid it's a very good tool set, A great value!! Vendor, Amazon support? The accessory pack was missing. That's all I should have to say to get one. This has been turned into a laborious attempt. Pity, nearly the only downside

Precision cutting - compatibility
Excellent quality for a fair price. The 5 degree angle makes quick work. Offers precision cutting. Compatible with standard oscillating tool blades.

Will handle many jobs
Great tool. I have used it to cut through epoxy holding pieces of wood together. I used it with a carbide blade to cut 8 1/4 inch bolts down to length. The tool has a lot of power and never got hot. Really good price compared to the other brands. It is corded so no battery, charger or added weight.
