collapsible easy grip sewing frame
wonderful easy to use frame that holds work while stitching. I have used it for several products since buying this item. It clips together easily and larger pieces can be rolled to adjust to where you are working. It has speeded up my stitching and kept the work tension even. Once unclipped the work is not damaged its size makes it easy to use while sitting in an armchair. The frame packs away easy when not in use.

Love it
Got this for use with tapestry stitching as I was finding my fingers aching holding the tapestry to try and keep tension on it. This frame is fantastic, easy to use and adjust and makes stitching a lot easier. It also keeps the tension on the material and keep it straighter. Sorry I waited so long to buy it!

Super light weight
I have always avoided buying this brand because I thought cheap meant it couldn’t be good. However I don’t believe I’ll buy any other brand in the future. These frames are very light weight so it’s easy to hold in hand for stitching and fits without any bother on the Lowery stand. It’s super easy to load fabric on with the easy clip and doesn’t require any sewing in place. The only disappointing feature is that the tension is not up to par with some other brands I’ve used. However, it’s not toooo bad and doesn’t hinder any stitching. I love that you can roll your project without taking the frame apart. Happy days for that!

Very good quality
This frame came well packaged. Fast delivery. Very sturdy and well made. I found it hard to twist the rods into place but have arthritis in my hands. It was too big for my current project but have two canvases it will fit. Look forward to using it( the size is correct. I didn't measure my canvas before purchase)

Not Good for wide projects
The rods only tighten one direction. This would work well if your project is exactly as wide/tall as the frame. You can only adjust the tension one direction. If your project is larger than the rod length, I recommend using the plastic pvc-looking pipes that you can adjust the tension both directions. If your project does fit the width/length, this frame would work rather well. The plastic clip covers for the rods held the fabric in place rather well. It was easy to put together.

Good kit, no instructions
I found this a good bit of kit which does the job, was well packaged and prompt which is why I gave it 5*. Having done tapestries before I had no problem putting it together but can understand why some reviewers have had problems as there were no instructions. Will therefore attempt to help a bit! Roll the short sides of the canvas back an inch or two so slightly curled. Make sure butterfly nuts on frame fairly loose and facing away. Put the canvas in front of the frame with design facing you. Put edge of one short side of the canvas to the edge of the slit (at the back) in the long rod on the right. Put lip of a clip into slit and clip on over canvas towards you. Add as many clips as you need for width of canvas then turn rod anti clockwise a turn or two. Repeat on the left turning rod clockwise. (There is always a good 2inch border on a canvas so the design should not be covered.) Canvas will be sagging in middle. Turn both rods away from each other until canvas is taut, using them like a scroll to position the canvas as you want it then tighten butterfly nuts - you will probably need to do this a few times as you work the tapestry. Hope this helps!
