Panic. First time for me to replace the rope around the log burner door. I was going to make a mess of it. Here we go: Instructions on the container, straightforward. Vitcas Rope cut in readiness. Glue easily applied thickly (liberally, I'm not sure), my wife looking on telling me that I was doing fine! For the price I felt that it was a bargain, as there was plenty left over in the bottle, giving me peace of mind. The bonding properties were impressive, sealing the rope to the door with precision. Panic averted. First choice next time.

I had to replace one of the ropes in our wood burner, interesting lid on the bottle. The adhesive worked very well, stove now working properly. Good price and fast delivery.

Good stuff though only just enough to get round my Stovax Stockton 8 with single door. It is quite runny so be ready to wipe it and don’t lose too much that way or you may run out. It holds the rope to an extent but I found 3 clamps helped hold it whilst getting it round the corners and pushed into place

I fixed rope that was coming loose from my log burner door. 10 minutes and it was good to go the fire was on as well, very impressive.

Easily glued the fire rope that was coming off the door of our Stovax log burner. No mess, no smell, worked first time.

High initial strength. I could fit the rope without taking the door off, though I used masking tape to keep it in position for 1/2 hour. After a week of use it’s performed well.

Instructions were easy to follow and it’s stuck the rope back down.

Easy to use, does the job and plenty left for another time if needed.

Per quel che mi serviva non è stata utile. Dovevo incollare dei piedini di gomma sul piano cottura (non a contatto con fuoco ovviamente). Essendo poi bianca era rimasta troppo visibile.
