2025: I bought one for me in 2020, thought it was great, bluetooth was so easy and quick, small compact an so simple to use, in 2022 I bought one for my adult nephew, and now I have bought one for my mum for this Christmas. I much prefer a bass and treble I can control rather than a rubbish equaliser, and thats also what my mum needs. I did swop old technics speakers as I already had them so I'm using them instead of the supplied ones, but hey, its its a great little system, no fuss, no nonsense, its great.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she turned 9 this year and is going to be getting her own room following renovation in early 2026. She absolutely loves her music so I thought this would be her first real grown up present to use when she gets her independence…….. I may sound old fashioned or slightly out of touch but having your own sound system in your room as you get older is a right of passage and a tool for personal catharsis, mental and social growth and a deeply personal medium in which to express yourself…….. I am and always have been a bit of an audiophile, I took significant interest in having good quality stereo equipment in my room from a young age and have never looked back, so sharing my love of music with my daughter is an absolute joy and something we really enjoy exploring together……so yeah decided to try and track down a little system for her room to enjoy….. This little stereo is compact and has all the functionality you need, it has a CD player which I still feel is absolutely essential, there is so much music in this format to explore and enjoy that you can’t find on streaming platforms or services, and frankly physical media is still more reliable and produces better sound quality…..however I am not a total dinosaur and made sure that this little system also has Bluetooth functionality and USB ports for the modern day methods of listening to music too, it also has a digital radio……so from where I’m sitting it covers all, or enough, bases for my daughter to be able to source, listen and play any music that tickles her fancy…….. It is a light and petite system, so doesn’t take up much space, is very user friendly, simple to navigate and explore the basic functions and features……..it comes with a remote control. Given the size of the speakers and the system it puts out some great sound, with enough range and clarity across the bass, mid and top to satisfy and please a youngster when getting to grips with an entry level Hifi….great value for money……It’s not an item that I would say is restricted to a younger market either, I can think of lots of people in various situations that could really enjoy the application of this into their chosen environment…….. Really good present for any parents who are passionate about their music and enjoy this dynamic in their relationship with little budding music enthusiasts and musicians……. I think music is a fantastic way to bond with your children and also a significant tool to aid mental wellness and personal expression…….. I think music contains a vast amount of positive dimensions and helpful properties, and if used correctly could broadly provide catharsis and peace for many different people and scenarios…… Anyway, I digress, it’s a great little entry level stereo and good value for money…….

Good audio and decent size for the price. Plays cds well without skipping or jumping however not a very bassy system. Does fine for smaller spaces and fine for price but i did expect a bit better.

bought this specifically for the advertised " bluetooth " speakers, diligently scoured the various models exactly the same apart from some having normal wired speakers. finally after submitting relevant model number re bluetooth speaker model, made the purchase, waited 2 days, (wired speaker models arrived quicker) and opened package to find wired model. can't fault the system it sounds brilliant, but I specifically wanted bluetooth so I could take speakers onto patio (I'm disabled) return policy didn't allow explanation of why I wanted to replace with correct model so decided to keep it and make do, as being disabled makes returning large items difficult.
