Venom Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Twin Pack (Xbox 360)

I didn’t know what to expect really, we dusted off our old Xbox 360, at this time when we have to stay in our homes! But we were using up normal batteries at an incredible rate, normal batteries would only last one hour max, I couldn’t believe it! So I thought I would have a look on amazon for a rechargeable battery for our controllers and came across this, it’s really good, it takes a couple of hours to charge and lasts ages (not sure how long) but at least 12 hours possibly longer. The lead is the best bit as you can charge both controllers with just the one lead and it is long enough for you to still play the game with two players with it being plugged in! Well worth the money I have spent on it, and saved me money in the long run as I was going through so many packs of batteries!!

These are simply fantastic. Arrived the next day (even though I placed the order at 8pm!) and came fully charged. It comes with 2 battery packs and a 2m USB A to USB Mini cable and work fantastically. So much better than using batteries and ended up being cheaper than a battery charger and 4 AA batteries (they were slightly discounted). In my experience they last longer than rechargeable batteries (not Duracell, just basic rechargeable ones) so better in long run too. Very satisfied, would recommend to anyone.

Great product. Works great with a long life and a short charging period. The product Hines with two battery packs and a USB charger which allows you to charge both packs simultaneously. The cord is long enough so you can charge whilst playing! At this price point, it is a really cost-effective and convenient way to power the 360 controller.

I bought these because my Official Xbox one's were old and didn't hold a charge very well anymore. I shopped around a bit on Amazon and saw these which were £5 cheeper for two than it was for one Official Xbox one, bargain. Received them, plugged them in to charge and a couple hours later tried them. They work fine. They are different however from the Official Xbox one's. Firstly these have an LED light that flashes to say that they are charging and then goes solid when they are fully charged, pretty handy. Secondly these do not charge using the same wire as the ones from the Official Xbox one's, these packs use mini USB cables plugged in to the back of the battery pack, at first i thought that this might be annoying and get in the way of where I hold the controller but surprisingly they do not. They don't last very long however and I fin myself changing the pack and charging every 2-3 days, thats not a problem but it does mean that the battery inside the pack will cycle more often and deplete faster but for the price I can not fault them, I'll just buy a new one when mine deplete. Overall very good battery packs, they feel lightweight, comfortable and work very well.

I've only used it for one game so far, and according to Steam, I clocked 64 hours on it. 64 hours, on 3 or 4 charges. I can't remember if it's 3 or 4 charges, but it's definitely either or. Even if it is 4 times, it's still a whooping 16 hours per charge. For under £10, it's definitely a steal, especially since it comes in a pair, which is great for fussy pricks (i.e. me) who doesn't like to play with cables attached. It lets you rotate between batteries when one's dead, so you can just charge the other one when you're not playing. Also, the charge time is only a couple of hours. Excellent buy, definitely recommended for all Xbox controllers!

I'm new to Xbox 360 controllers but I knew there was no way I was going to rely on batteries for them. This was more or less the first thing I managed to search for in Amazon. I won't be able to compare it to, say, official Xbox hardware. That said, this item is more than fit-for-purpose. The item fits into your controller exactly how they all fit in; contacts on the bottom, eject-button on top. So you want to know about the battery life; I'm afraid I don't have to many specifics but I do know that I got a decent amount of hours of gaming when I used the pack straight out of the box - A fully charged one lasted me a while, I'll say anyone used to ps3 controllers wouldn't recognise the difference of charge-to-playtime ratio. The good thing about this is that it's a twin pack - I only have one controller so I have one on charge all the time (bad for the environment, yes I know) whilst playing with the one plugged in. There is a green flashing light when the battery is charging with the cable, I believe it changes to the steady green light once its fully charged - It's REALLY bright - make sure to turn it over when charging over-night. The wire is about an arm-span length - with a split (for the two controller-packs) about half-way down. I keep mine tied-up for neatness. The connector to the battery pack is a 90-degree jack which means if you want to charge a pack whilst its in the controller, you can rest it flat, facing up. I think this was a nice thought from the developers of this as they could've easily just included a crappy, standard one that would endanger the wires or the connectors. So after a month of usage - I'm more than happy about it. Frankly I'm more annoyed Xbox controller don't come with one of these as standard. Who uses batteries any more?! I digress - Five stars and worth it. Good value for money considering without, you'd have to buy batteries for the rest of your life to keep gaming.

This is very convenient, puts Microsoft to shame with their inferior overpriced rubbish plug and play. As a PC gamer who uses a 360 controller for some games, this is a godsend. Recommended Edit: So after 1 year of use, 1 of the batteries died. Not very happy but you get what you paid for I guess. Still quite cheap and convenient

Ottimo prodotto, lo utilizzo per giocare con i miei joystick wireless della xbox 360 al computer e non ho mai avuto problemi. Di ottima fattura, permettono di giocare per molte ore senza che si scarichino, ma in tal caso è possibile anche giocare durante il caricamento con l'ausilio dell'apposito cavo lungo 2m. Pro: 1. Ottima adesione allo slot dei joystick, si infilano saldamente e non perdono il contatto nemmeno con movimenti bruschi del controller (cosa che mi capitava con le pile stilo). 2. Carica veloce che si completa in circa un paio d'ore 3. Carica che dura molto, capita di non doverle caricare per intere settimane, anche con 20 ore di gioco continuano ad andare! 4. Il cavo molto lungo (2m) permette con un'unica porta usb di ricaricare entrambe le batterie (dopo 1m si sdoppia infatti in due uscite da collegare alle batterie) Contro: Non è stato possibile scegliere il colore e avendo i joypad neri non ci stanno proprio benissimo, ma l'importante è la funzionalità e dunque non mi posso proprio lamentare! In definitiva sono soddisfattissimo dell'acquisto e le consiglio vivamente!

Only one of the two batteries would actually charge. The second battery just blinked for a week.

Ce lot de deux batteries pour manette Xbox 360 est très bien. La durée d'autonomie est correcte, je ne l'ai pas chronométré mais elle suffit amplement pour deux joueurs réguliers. Je dirais qu'on peut jouer 5 jours à une semaine à raison d'une heure par jour en moyenne, sachant qu'il m'arrive de jouer plusieurs heures par jour. Le double-câble de charge est très bien: sur la photo on peut voir que le connecteur de charge est coudé, on peut donc laisser le câble branché pendant qu'on joue et poser la manette à plat en toute sécurité si on veut faire une pause (contrairement à d'autres câbles que les enfants tordent en posant la manette)

No tengo queja del funcionamiento, quizás la carga es un poco lenta, pero nada exagerado. Al ser dos baterías el precio es muy razonable, y la duración es muy buena (todavía no me he acabado la primera y llevo más de 20 horas de juego). Me parece imprescindible para los mandos de Xbox 360.
