This is a Swiss Army knife of basses. It literally can do pretty much anything style of music you prefer. I used to own a Fender P-bass and wanted to get back into playing. Squire is made by Fender and it seems to be just as solid as my old guitar for a fraction of the price AND comes with the amp! The amp is really good for its size and portability. I did replace the strap. It was a little bit small for my height and where I like to play the instrument. Great

I've had a fender acoustic bass and a fender fretless jazz bass that I sold 10 yrs ago. This squire bass was purchased so I could get back into playing. It plays as easily and sounds just as good as they did. The volume and tone controls are not as good a quality as my other guitars but for the price it is not bad. The guitar comes already strung with bronze strings and besides the guitar, the kit contains a Fender Rumble 15 amp, cable, strap and gig bag. The strap could be a bit longer for me but still works well. The cable is average quality. Overall a good kit for the price and if you want to learn bass or play with friends.

Great bass overall only ding I have is the amp cord is garbage and I would recommend you take it to a music store to get the bass setup. If anyone who doesn’t know what that is the store will adjust the truss rod, adjust the string’s height to the fret, etc. also I recommend of getting a quality case especially people who live in high humidity areas because the neck will warp. But overall a great guitar for the money.
