Nicely built amp but pricey
Seems well made. No on/off power switch, but supposedly sleeps after 20 minutes of inactivity. Paired with bose 251 outdoor speakers and sounds great. Note that although 2 sets of speakers are supported, they operate on a single channel only. Bose app seems okay. Setup was easy and uneventful. Everything worked, except I could not get Chromecast to work with Sirius streaming app. Amazon Music and Pandora both fine, and BT worked okay as well.

Great sound, easy to use
Bought this amp to use with our new home’s ceiling speakers. We had to have them installed professionally, but this had more to do with our own wiring rather than with the speakers. For someone who knows what they are doing, the install seems super easy. The Bose app that is used with this app is super easy to install and use. We absolutely love having this is amp in our home. It was well worth the price and the sound quality is fabulous and clear. The Bluetooth connectivity was very easy to establish and super convenient to use on a daily basis.

Do Not Buy This Amplifier
I have four of these amplifiers. I bought these to replace their older style Bose amplifiers. Two of my amplifiers completely failed after about a year. One has had multiple repair attempts with Bose and still does not work. The network ports fail and Bose can’t fix them. This is a showstopper problem that turns your amp into an expensive paperweight if you intend to group your amps. I own a ton of Bose gear. My experience with these amps has completely ended my brand loyalty. When your amps fail, and it seems like that will happen rather soon, you can’t get good service.(This is a pick of the dead link light. This is after two trips back to the factory.)

Great great amp
I’ve owned this Bose amp for a couple of years and it is fantastic. Works my Polk Audio speakers exceptionally well. Worth purchasing and doesn’t take up much space either.
