This cable is sturdy and seems well built, unlike the very flimsy version that came with my system. Works well providing a consistent signal. Quick delivery, even to the 'remote location' where I live and a great price at only 25% of the high st retailers' prices.

This is a nicely made cable and was easy to install. I purchased it to compare the optical link between my Squeezebox Touch and an external DAC with a good very 75 Ohm co-axial cable. While the sound via the XO cable is good, it is not spectacular - at least in my set-up. I found that the sound via the optical link became flat (2-D) and lost detail compared to the coaxial link.

The cable is well made, the only and major problem is that the cable is very rigid and heavy. It annoyingly falls out of most optical inputs. I have tried this with my pioneer, bluray player, surround sound and Xbox 360. It's a shame that so little thought seems to have gone into usability of a cable like this. The fact that it keeps falling out is annoying especially if you have to dig around the back of a media unit filled with wires to pop it back in.

If you are not an audiophile or a professional piano tuner its hard to tell the difference between electrical and digital optical TOSlink signal performance. But when you look at signal degradation performance tests its clear that in most circumstances, with hundreds of other leads carrying various charges, various currents and various signal types all in close proximity, digital optical has the edge over more traditional technologies. Even though I'm no audiophile I just can't find vv with this 1metre cable, especially when you consider the price.

I bought this cable to go from my sacd player to my receiver and it delivers sound perfect, it's quite a chunky cable aswel as being braided! Not your usual thin optical cable! Fast delivery too! Thanks!

Good quality cable and blends in better as it white against my white wall

Never had an optical cable before, but as I had optical connections on my i-pod dock and one on the amplifier I thought I would give it a go. what a difference it made. Sound was crisp and clear. If your not sure whether to get one or not, and you have the connections on your devises, try this product, for the price you've got nothing to lose and you might be surprised.

Cable avec un tres bon rapport qualité/prix. Les materiaix sont de qualité. Rien a dire, fait bien son job, par contre j'aurais dû le prendre en noir car ce genre de cables qui trainent derriere un meuble prennent beaucou la poussiere.

Un bon câble qui fait le job pour un home cinéma d'entrée de gamme. Si vous avez du matériel haute de gamme n'hésitez pas à mettre la main au porte feuille avec un câble plus poussé.

Stecker und Korpus wirken hochwertig, Ton technisch keine Probleme, in meinem Samsung TV sitzt der Stecker sehr feste und im Denon AVR nur sanft, aber kann nicht von selbst herraus rutschen. Wie feste die Steckverbindung ist hat wohl nur etwas mit den Geräten zutun. Mein problem ist nur, das kabel ist recht schwer und mein TV optisch out ist seitlich, daher drückt es sehr auf die Buckse, schade eigentlich. Also für mich nicht zugebrauchen.
