Lighted Magnifier Headset with 5 Lenses – Hands-Free Magnifying Tool for Electronics, Jewelry, Crafts, Soldering, Eyelash Extensions

Got this magnifier on Friday, used it for about 6 hours and currently using it right now! Light is great, the illumination is superb for being so small. At 1st glance I was skeptical as to how comfortable it would be, but after wearing it for hours at a time, surprisingly it’s very comfortable! The ear pieces are detachable & comes w/ a strap to secure it to your head, which is great because I felt that just the ear pieces made it feel like it was sliding off my face, to others it may fit better, but I personally prefer the strap. The adjustability of the actual site piece is great & is easily manipulated for all different shapes of faces/heads. As far as the actual magnifying pieces they’re nice and thick & seem very durable, it comes w/ 5 different magnifiers (3.5/2.5/2.0/1.5/1.0) in a nice hard case for organization. (side note: I think these pieces are great, but could be a little bit bigger IE: Taller/wider), still very good & good quality! I haven’t done further research to see if they have other sizes of magnifiers, but I’m assuming they do, I’m personally good w/ what they provide! Overall I would recommend these to anyone requiring fine detail work such as pyrography (which is what I use them for), but they would work great for fly fisherman who make their own hooks, or computer/cell phone, jewelry, watch etc repairs! 5 stars from me & I will most definitely recommend them to all the people I know for sure!

Easy to use, took a bit of practice to understand which magnification strength lens to use. The second to lowest one is consistently perfect for helping me see my cross stitch more clearly. Sits on my forehead comfortably even with my large frame eye glasses! So far it doesn’t seem to drain batteries fast, though the light is still nicely bright. (Which also helps me see the crafts a lot more than I expected, sometimes I use it just for the light without the magnify lens) the design is nice, it folds easily so you can store it in a project bag with the craft you’re working on, and the size is pretty versatile: I have a big forehead and this doesn’t cause me discomfort to wear for about an hour or two at a time. Definitely recommend, it’s functional and looks cool

My husband purchased this magnifying headlamp many years ago. Today he used it and said we definitely need to share a review so others will know how well this works. He has used it at least once a week since the purchase (hundreds of times). It has been a wonderful tool that has held up perfectly, and saved him a lot of aggravation. Use them for anything that needs magnification and light (small print, splinters, working on tiny parts, etc.). Could not speak more highly about this product. You will not be disappointed, and this will probably be the best thing you ever get from Amazon.

As this head mounted magnifying headset comes with 5 different lenses/strengths, I easily found the one I needed for my old eyes. I am using it for diamond painting & it is sooooo what I needed! Hence why I am buying a backup unit to have on hand in case something happens to this one. I also paint with other media & found I can paint in the close up delicate work so much easier! I wish I'd discovered these 15 years ago when I first started using reading glasses. These are so much better for any close detail work. I like the glasses so far so have not tried the strap but I can see how that would be nice for others. It seems surprisingly sturdy for the price. Has everything in one unit so there's no having to find other parts once you click everything together on this. Everything is 'user friendly' & light weight. (I have not been influenced by anyone to write this. It's genuine.)

Wrote a whole review and then Amazon app decided to refresh the page and deleted everything I wrote (thanks Amazon). So here's a quick rewrite. It has good stuff--nose piece is removable, the glasses arms are swappable with an adjustable band, multiple lenses with a nice case, adjustable light and lens angles. Bad stuff--forehead hurts when wearing. The rubber part is hard and makes indents in your head, it gets a little heavy wearing it for a while especially with the batteries in. Main gripe: lens don't stay in the headpiece as i think they were intended to. It seems like the lens is supposed to slide in and slightly snap in place, but the lenses I have don't do that. They slip in and it doesn't feel like they will stay. And in my case, they didn't. One of my lenses continued to fall out of the headpiece until it finally broke. The part of the lens that sticks into the headpiece snapped off and now I can't use it anymore. I'm really disappointed that the one thing this headset is supposed to do... It can't actually do properly. I'm not sure if i got a faulty headset or lenses or something, but this is an issue for all of my lenses so maybe it's a problem with the entire thing. Not sure. It was cheap and it still does what i need it to do (albeit now without the strongest magnifier lens... RIP my 3.5x lens) so I'll keep using--I DO like it, I'm just frustrated by the constant lens issue I had.

I love that I can change the lvl of detail I.need to see in a repair or painted detail, by a simple change of the lenses and then tweaking the angle. They have been extremely useful to.me.

Excellent for doing my cross stitch. Brings everything into focus. Well worth spending a bit extra for something that does the job.
