UHU White Tack Twin Pack - Sticky Reusable Adhesive Putty

Really good white tack for putting up the Christmas decs. They stay up much better than when I've used cheaper brands of white tack.

I ordered this to hang a birthday banner on mum's pale walls. I knew she'd love the banner but I wasn't risking That Look for marking her living room! This is the same as the trusty blue stuff, just in white. It's possibly a tiny bit tougher to break off, I kept ending up with large chunks. No problem. The banner has stayed in position perfectly. Happy to recommend.

Yes its white and yes it holds things (childrens' drawings, cards etc) to the walls and doors.

BluTack tends to leave a blue greasy stain when you remove it from porous surfaces. White Tack is a little less obvious... It /can/ leave a bit of a greasy smear on paper or really porous wallpaper, though, if you leave it long enough to 'sweat out' the chemicals, but it's a lot less obvious. I've used it to avoid having to pay for repairs when I was a student. I've found that you need to use a LOT of it on laminated sheets, though. It tends to peel off easily, especially in really warm weather. Heavy (A3) laminated sheets will need almost the entire pack if you want to keep it on the wall all year. I have it tacking things to an overhang in a loft space. The paper sticks well. Cardboard and laminated sheets tend to peel relatively easily. I have noticed that some paint does come away when you remove the 'tack, so if you cover a wall with it, be prepared to need to sand it down and give it a once-over with the roller afterwards.

Certainly decent quality, but I was a little disappointed about how much you get for your money, even when on special offer. I compared this White Tack to an equivalent item from a local shop that sells things for more than 99p and less than £1.01, and the quality compared well, but I got way more for my money. ...but this doesn't detract from this item. It works well for its intended use.

Works as sticky tack should. A year later I was able to peel it off and reuse it on something else with no issues. I do recommend this one... it was good value (decent price, great quality)

I buy this product frequently to use on the walls in my classroom. With it being white it does not leave a colour stain on the paint work and does not take the paint off like some other products I have tried. There are no greasy marks left on pictures or posters and it is easy to remove from paper. Once I remove it from the wall I find it is best to just stretch the ball of adhesive a couple of times before reusing - this way it retains the elasticity and doesnt go hard. Great product - not the cheapest but one of the best.
