Pretty fly for a WiFi
Great mesh solution, works as expected and the connectivity is good - range is clearly much better than using the Wifi provided by your ISP. Wife didn't even mind the aesthetics - looks like a small speaker (or the big Amazon Echo Studio speaker, but white) or an air freshener. Easy to set up with the app, also easy to maintain and view connected devices, bandwidth etc.etc. on the app as well. It has Wi-Fi tri-band - so 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz - but unless you're sat on the device, 6hz is pointless - very very fast - but doesn't travel at all though anything. I don't think this is the products problem but a 6GHz one, but it should be mentioned. Also the 6GHz signal has it's own name "YOURWIFINAME_6Ghz" that you need to add to your devices if you want to use it. Mesh is seemless, you can't tell when you're going from one of the routers to the other. Yes, they're pricy - but so are all the competition so what can you do? I've had wifi extenders before - much cheaper and you can tell why, you have to have them on different WIFI names and your devices will stick to one or the other until it loses range, regardless of the quality of the connection, so I would avoid and stump up the cash for a mesh solution like this and never worry about it ever again.

Great upgrade for the cost with good Coverage and Performance across the board
Replaced an ageing Asus Wifi 5 mesh setup that was about 5 years old and hadnt been bad at all. I just noticed a few niggles, needed restarting on occasion and just generally felt an upgrade was due. Did a bit of research and usually I tend to run near the top end of tech but went closer to the middle range I feel with these and they have been faultless. Really easy to setup, great performance and also really good coverage in an old 16th century house. We use 3 to cover the main areas and I then went and purchased a couple of the smaller x10s to give some coverage in the Garden in summer. Not had any dropouts, no need to restart them, really good performance across the board. Ive had a fair few devices connected when friends and family round and never gave any issue. I like the guest network seperate from my office one that was easily setup, for said friends and family as well! The mobile app (Ive only used on iOS) is really well done, gives a good little map of how the meshes are connected which I liked to ensure the setup was working as I thought. I get notifications if other devices connect (thinking about it, I think this is only when Im out and about rather than at the home which is probably a good thing!). Updates have been smooth and pain free as well. Overall really pleased and would look to get other TP-Link products in future and have recommended to others!

Super design, easy to set up and works superbly
We live in an old house with lots of very thick walls, so getting a good WiFi network has always been problematic. Using hardwire connections to use a laptop in blank spots worked pretty well, but obviously this didn’t help with devices that couldn’t be plugged in - like iPads for example. And there were always some places - indoors and out - where there was either no signal at all, or not enough for anything to work reliably. Switching to the Deco6 mesh system has changed all this. For the first time ever we now have WiFi throughout the house, and pretty much everywhere outside too. In the one room where previously we really wanted to use iPads but couldn’t, it’s now easy to browse the web in comfort. And the signal is so good that we can even watch movies without using hardwired connections. What’s more, the units themselves actually look good. They’re very much in keeping with the Apple design aesthetic - clean, simple and minimalistic - and so look great next to a Mac, MacBook or iPad. And if you choose to have the small LED light on, it’s creates a lovely, peaceful, soft green glow. The set up is also really straightforward too - a huge leap forward from any other router I’ve ever used. But it’s not foolproof. I’d watched several videos and read quite a few reviews so ended up slightly over-confident, and missed one key bit of information that’s there in black and white in the instructions. It’s this: you will need to have the Deco app installed and have access to it when you start. I’d installed the app, but had disconnected the old router and had no phone signal either. I had to reconnect it to the old WiFi network to be able to open the app. But from there on it was simple. Just make sure you’ve got your existing network user name and password to hand, plus your ISP user name and password. Should take 5 - 10 mins at most to be up and running. I found the best location for the 2nd unit by testing it in several positions, and then running speed tests on the network. Although the app is well designed, and easy to use, it is a bit lightweight and could easily be much more useful if TP-Link reviewed it and updated it to add more features. But that is about the only criticism I have of the Deco XE75. It’s every bit as good as I’d hoped it would be and a substantial upgrade to our internet experience.

*UPDATE* BT and DECO WARNING - XE75
*UPDATE* It's been two days and everything has stayed connected. By luck or judgement. I've read before that new networks can need time to "settle", but never really understood the logic behind that, however it seems to be the case here. Luckily I had Ethernet ports plumbed in around the house from new, so have Ethernet cables connecting the units. I'm getting blistering speeds all over the house now, close to the speeds I'm playing BT for, which is just sublime. The app is still a bit ropey, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the system stays reliable (I really hope so, as I love seeing the speed checker results!) *End of UPDATE* After another dropped connection in Teams, I decided I had to change from the BT super hub 2. That unit, when hardwired to the modem, and when sat next to it, gave a great signal, but dropped significantly as you went further away. I went for the XE75 WiFi 6e mesh 3 pack. My main unit is connected to the fibre modem. The BT super hub was up for 2 years, no drops. The decos have been up for a day, and have dropped 30 times. The app is connecting to the cloud somewhere, and loses the deco units regularly. I don't know what the problem is, am trying to test, but with constantly dropping off the network, it's hard to change settings on it. I've read elsewhere that IPV6 can cause problems with BT, so I've turned that feature off inside the deco app. Why I'd have to do that on a system worth over £300 is beyond me. When it was up and running, I was getting excellent speeds throughout the house, which makes the unreliability that much worse to bear. I had looked on BTs forum, and there are quite a few posts about these units and the BT network. I'd followed blindly a couple of suggestions there, and finally had the 3 units up and running, great speeds everywhere and went to sleep happy. Woke up, noticed my phone was no longer connected to the WiFi. Opened the deco app to be met with "couldn't find your deco"..blah blah blah. Heartbroken after hours of trying to set up (as I say, made more difficult when it kicks you off the network/you can't connect to it). Going to give it one more day with IPv6 turned off, see if that may be causing the issue. The reviews you see on Amazon are for several different models, and a lot of people are having great experiences with Virgin media as the provider. Not sure if I am unlucky with the combo of my model and ISP (I suspect not), whether it's BT not playing nice with the decos, or the decos not playing nice with BT. Not sure if it's because I turned on Fast Roaming or not. Not sure if it's because I'd turned on IPv6 or not (I had ipv6 on the BT super hub for 2 years, no trouble at all), so I'm thinking it's these Deco units.

Worth every cent! Best in the market for 6E networks.
This is absolute sorcery. Went from having connection dropping everywhere across the house to having powerful signal with 500MB/S download in every nook and cranny of this house. Sky should partner with this company for complete coverage. Because that nonsense they charge people £4 a month for is a joke. At least I get to keep this even if I switch providers. Worth every penny spent. Easy to configure and worked straight out of the box.

Works better than I imagined
I’m going to go into as much detail as possible about location and setup as not many reviews do and placement and environment is really important information when talking about WiFi meshes. I have 2 XE75 meshes. I live in a small bungalow modern building with concrete walls. The WiFi meshes are placed about 6 meters apart with 2 concrete wall between them. They are connected wirelessly to one another. I even get full WiFi speeds in my front and back garden. My entire property is around 52 square meters. I have anywhere from 14 to 16 divides connected at once. I game regularly and stream all my tv content. I pay for 500mbps of internet. Before these WiFi meshes. I would get a speed of around 200gb in the room furthest away from the router. With the WiFi meshes in place I get over 500mbps in every room. I have my PS5 connected via Ethernet to the AP hub in the living room (eg. They mesh that is connected via WiFi to the other mesh) and get a solid 500+ speeds. I haven’t used the 6E band yet as I don’t have any devices that have the capability. The app is simple but still offers features I really like. People familiar with WiFi Meshes will know that devices tend to “stick” meaning that certain devices will pick a mesh unit further away from them and refuse to switch. Despite the AI system it claims to have this still happens. However they have an option to force a device to use a particular mesh which is great. Luckily the devices that like to stick for me are my TV’s and smart home devices, so as they don’t move around the house like a phone or tablet would, forcing them on a mesh is fine and ideal. I’ve never had a problem with my more portable devices switching to the closest mesh. There is an option in the app to “schedule a reboot” and you can do this daily or weekly. Slightly concerned that you would have a feature to reboot a device so regularly. I took to Reddit to see if there was an answer. People speculated that it was probably a hardware issue where if left the meshes without a reboot the device could build up cache and slow down speeds, but nobody was sure. I turned it on to be on the safe side and set it for 3am every Sunday so that it didn’t affect me. I’ve kept an eye on it in terms of speed tests. The day before the reboot my speeds were fine and after the reboot all my devices were connected as normal so I’ve kept it in place. You also have an option to get notifications when a new device is added to the network which is a great security feature to make sure nobody else is using your WiFi. The only issue I can think of is one of my first generation google docks got disconnected and wouldn’t reconnect. The app saw the device as offline, and the dock just wouldn’t connect. Unplugging the device and plugging it back in fixed the issue. So far a great purchase and I’ve had them for 2 weeks. I’ll update my review if my speeds start to slow down

Wifi 6e was a huge let-down/disappointment - and beware Mac users
TL;DR These were a huge disappointment - very slow performance as a mesh network! Why I bought these/background: I bought the new TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400 3-node system to replace 5x of the old/first Google wifi nodes We live in a 2 storey, 3 bedroom, Edwardian house with Brick internal walls and with the old Google system, I'd often see no more that 6-8MB/s when transferring files between my MacBook and a Raspberry Pi-based music server (which is connected to a wifi node using ethernet). I've read and watched loads of reviews about these and seen some truly blistering performance, even when using these in wireless backhaul mode (some people seeing close to gigabit performance). Unpacking and setup: Box, packaging etc all good, units themselves were smaller and lighter than I'd assumed and seemed well built. The mains adapters were bigger than I thought though (although they fit in a multi-socket extension strip with no issues Setup was simple enough, although you have to download the app and register an account. It was also easy to add the extra nodes (one in the kitchen at the back of the house, and one in an upstairs office room), and update firmware etc Initial impressions: The first issue was that I couldn't connect to the music server from my MacBook (it was fine from my Windows laptop though) - looks like there's a well documented DNS issue with these devices! The workaround was to add .local to the name of the device (ie. <devicename>.local:<port number> This was the first thing that grated as in 2022 I wasn't expecting to run into such things Performance: Incredibly slow - worse even than the old Google wifi kit I've been using for years I can't really say any more than that - I was often getting <1MB/s transferring music files onto the server! This is a consumer product and as such should "just work" - but even after trying various things, the performance was still worse than the kit I was hoping to replace Maybe it's because we have all brick walls and the reviewers all live in flimsy new-builds, I don't know, but I have no clue why my results were so poor, but there we go Will be sending this back ASAP...

Connected to my Virgin Business Voom 800 Package - LIGHTNING FAST SPEEDS
I very rarely write Amazon product reviews, but i felt like i had to for this system. I'm on Virgin Business Voom 800 package which gives me a max of 800mb download speed and 80mb upload speed. My WiFi speeds downstairs, near the router would give me roughly 300mb download speed and 50mb upload speed, however, when i was upstairs in my room, i was getting 68mb download speeds and 50mb upload speeds (see picture), upload was good but download speeds were way down... I recently purchased a Macbook M2 Max, which supports WiFi 6e, i made sure that i got a mesh system that had WiFi 6e capability... And the results are simply amazing, i connected to the 6e WiFi on my laptop, and you can now see from the photo, i'm getting 713mb download speeds and 77mb upload speeds, and this is in my room, on a WiFi connection! I haven't even tried using an ethernet yet. Put simply, some of the best money i have ever spent, i was a little sceptical purchasing these as they seemed like a cheaper option that supported WiFi 6e, but it did not disappoint. Set up was super simple too, connected all 3 of the nodes in 15 minutes. I'm a content creator so fast download and upload speeds are crucial, i'm now going to upgrade to Virgins Voom Gig 1 package as i'm so confident this mesh system will get the absolute max speeds out of the WiFi package i have. Couldn't recommend more, i've got super strong WiFi throughout any part of the house, all my smart devices (Alexa, ring doorbell etc) connected just fine too. If you're on Virgin, and you're fed up of calling them because your WiFi speeds are nowhere near where they should be, don't think twice, just buy this system!!!
