Probably my favorite glaze
I've used almost a full pint, and the results have been so consistent and just outstanding. Fired at Cone 5 on 04 bisque. The resulting color variation varies between the deep, dark navy blue and black depending on the number of coats. While one coat ends up being very dark (I would basically call it an extremely dark charcoal gray, if not black), it can also be semi-transparent. One aspect I love about this glaze is one some may not like-- there is a slight "graininess" in the look which adds just a little bit of visual contrast to the completely smooth, glossy surface. It's subtle, but I love it. I'm writing this review after purchasing my second pint... Whenever I want a dark, rich color, this will most likely be my go-to.

Gorgeous color
Love Amaco glazes and this Blue Midnight is just gougeous. It’s a stable glaze when used alone, but it would run if used with a flux.

AMAZON IS SHIPPING AMACO GLAZES IN BAGS
I love Amaco glazes and Blue Midnight is spectacular. However, recently Amazon is shipping these in bags and they leak all over and with this shipment the lid was cracked also. In the past 2 weeks, I have had this happen with another Amaco glaze shipped by Amazon. I asked for a replacement because it was an expensive glaze and there was considerable leakage in the bag. The replacement also came in a bag and was poured out inside it. Whoever is selling Amaco and allowing Amazon to ship, you need to know that they are not shipping it properly and then they are having the cost of replacement and returns. Amaco deserves better!!

Disappointing
I couldn’t wait to receive this glaze, & was disappointed & dismayed to find that to get a refund I have to return the broken bottle & bag filled with glaze. 🤷🏼♀️ That’s pretty much impossible.
