Frothing goodness
I love my Gassia Classic; it's a coffee beast. I didn't think it could be improved but this cheap and simple modification has made it even better. I would almost say this is an essential upgrade to the steam wand which comes as standard. It's not difficult to get great results with the wand and there are a couple of videos on YouTube which guide you through the installation as well as how to get the perfect results once it's on. Very pleased with the purchase and the results.

amazing modification
For anyone wishing to modify their delonghi steaming wand - this is an amazing piece. Does a great job for its price and turned out to even speed up the steaming process. The tip was a little hard to unscrew when taking the nut off, so make sure you have a key. You do need to take apart your coffee machine to install it, but there’s a youtube video by Tom’s Coffee Corner where he puts it in and explains the process along the way which was turned out to be very helpful. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and the results

Bought as replacement for a DeLonghi 31.21 wand
Bought this as a replacement for the poor plastic delonghi foamer. It's quite a powerful improvement! At first it's a bit of a learning curve, but 6/7 coffees later and you'll have picked up the knack of foaming those cappuccino milks to perfection. If I could find a way to improve the amount of steam the machine outputs, it'd be even better. The assembly is the trickiest bit. Pushing the plastic socket part around the metal bends is tricky, so I'd recommend some rubber/electrical gloves to make it easier. Once it's on, not too tricky to complete the rest - check youtube for videos. I did have the rubber steam hose pop-off the top of the wand, so a stronger clip or potentially a drop of super-glue might be wise before sealing the machine shut. I'd be interested to see how others have remedied this. Will update in a few months to see how it's going.

Does the job nicely
I bought three of these to replace the standard wands on different DeLonghi models. I initially bought a cheap one from that auction site and very quickly realised that in this case you do get what you pay for. The cheap one was a nightmare to clean between uses, there are no similar issues with these. Fitting to a Delonghi EC685 wasn't easy but with the help of you tube I managed it without too much swearing. Fitting to a Magnifica Smart S was much more straight forward. So much easier to froth the milk as I like it.

Replaced smeg plastic one. Much better.
I've managed to fudge it by replacing the useless plastic one that came with my built in smeg coffee machine. It's a tad loose so I need to do something crafty to secure it. However, it is a massive improvement. Really great frothewr. Nice, cheap and works. Thumbs up from me.

The BEST upgrade for a Gaggia Classic!
First Impressions; Strong, looks good! What's in the box; - Wand What I love; + 100000000000x better than the factory wand! + Fits Gaggia Classic with ease! + The best ever upgrade for a Gaggia Classic! + Incredibly Powerful + Buy it for yourself and find out! What could be improved; - Nothing, I truly love it, why didn’t I upgrade sooner? Conclusion; This is the most amazing upgrade for a Gaggia Classic, you will need a spanner to fit it, but you will not regret buying it! If you’re already good at Latte art with the factory wand, you will be a pro with this wand! Nothing else to say really, have a look at my pictures and see for yourself! I hope this review helped you make a decision, if you have any questions then do not hesitate to ask! :-)

Good upgrade for my Delonghi Dedica
Bought this after seeing a youtube video on upgraded the steam wand on my Delonghi Dedica. Wasn't too difficult to swap over and it definitely works better than the stock wand. Only criticism I would say is that because the tip can be unscrewed and replaced sometimes milk can get dried in the seam so it is a bit harder to clean then if the wand was completely smooth. But this is a minor issue.

Better froth
This creates a better milk froth for lattes. Based on online forums, I thought I would use an an upgrade to my gaggia classic. I am not sure it was worth it, but it does add improvement

This works with the Delonghi EC260BK (the machine i have). There was only one video of how to do this mod for the insulated hose machines. I noticed there isn’t a lot of information about how to add the rancillo steam wand to the EC260BK version specifically. Though it is definitely doable. In fact the EC260BK, seems to be the easiest of the stilosa family to work with as it doesn’t really require you to even remove the screws on the boiler. If you’re doing this on the EC260BK, just make sure your screw drivers are long AND thin enough. Use hot water and a hair dryer for get the plastic nut onto new wand. Get a spring hose clamp to attach the hose to the new wand (it’s worth the couple extra bucks) 5/16 worked for me though had to tighten down a decent amount. For those who are on the fence about it, I would say to do it. The Rancillo steam wand is a great upgrade, steams milk A LOT faster, has better power and is only a $20 upgrade. As other reviews mentioned, the wand does get pretty hot, and the milk dries a bit on the surface, but nothing a wet cloth can’t fix. Yes the process, may be a bit lengthy but if you’re into the hobby and have a bit of time on your hands it’s a fun way to spend a couple hours. The actual process is not hard in any way. So even if you aren’t very DIY, this is totally doable. It’s more or less about having the right tools, and once you learn the process it becomes a lot easier.

Comes with both a 1-hole and 3-hole tip. Following a video on YouTube, I replaced the steam wand with this one, and it works flawlessly (even though I have it clamped with a zip tie until I can find a replacement clamp). 10/10
