Outstanding Decaf, Rich & Creamy
TLDR: This is the best decaf I've had. I've been on a search for good decaf since I can only tolerate two cups of regular these days. I've narrowed the search to Swiss Water Method only. They say that chemical methods are perfectly safe. They also said that about cigarettes. Anyway, Swiss Water Method, Organic and Fair Trade in that order. Jo checks these boxes and has a rich, full body that I love. Smooth and creamy, just like the labels says. Low bitterness, although I don't mind a little bite. Excellent roast with no hint of burning. This is exceptional coffee. The other decaf's I've tried that meet my criteria: Costa Rica Decaf Tarrazu - This is also good stuff, just a little pricey. Almost as rich as Jo but not as smooth. Verena Street Sunday Drive - Another good choice. Light body, easy drinking. Not creamy. Not bitter. Organic Coffee Co. Gorilla & Hurricane - Hurricane is the better. Medium body, a little bitter. My previous go-to. San Francisco Bay Decaf Espresso Roast - Great for the price, just not exciting. Decent all-arounder. Kicking Horse Decaf - My first go with this last year was fantastic. They seem to have changed sources or roasting methods because the last two batches were slightly burnt and pretty bitter. Shame.

Low Acidity and Flavor is Not Too Strong
LOVE this decaf, whole bean coffee! I've tried so many others and tend to favor lighter beans to avoid the strong flavor, but No Fun Jo does it for me. ๐ With other coffees I had to add a pinch of salt to cut the acidity but not with No Fun Jo, and I have it on a biweekly delivery. Woot! Woot!

I like it for what it is. Here are some detailed impressions...
This arrived in the mail today! I was out of my evening decade beans and actually drove to a few local roasters to buy some. They were ALL out. So, took advantage of Prime here on Amazon and ordered this No Fun Jo. Here are a few impressions: - The cupping notes in the description are fairly accurate. It does have a blueberry nuance with a sweetness that could be described as chocolate. Maybe a cheap ice-cream syrup type of chocolate. The description says it is "complex" which to me basically means "it is hard to distinguish the exact flavor." In the end, the coffee is not smooth but has a pleasant sweet acidity in the finish. - The beans are medium dark and oily - My package came fresh. The coffee bloomed like crazy. Unfortanteky, the company is not as animate about freshly roasted coffee as they might lead you to believe because the package had a "sell-by" date on the bag that was 12 months out. So in the end, I would call it typical grocery store coffee with some clever marketing. I like it, but I find something to like about most every coffee. Though each cup will be enjoyed, I will not be purchasing these beans again. There are plenty of decaf beans out there that hopefully won't be so elusive next time I run out. Enjoy your coffee!

Will repurchase
Great tasking coffee, low acid. I think that the water process is healthier than other methods used.

No coffee taste.
Blood pressure issues are now forcing me to drink decaffeinated coffee so I am trying to find a real tasty decaf coffee. I like my coffee black and really enjoy the flavor of coffee. Upon opening the bag there was a faint smell of coffee and the beans had a dry look. I was so disappointed with my first cup because there was absolutely no coffee flavor and I purchased the two pound package of beans, which was expensive. I will use the rest of the beans but will not buy it again.

A great decaf ๐๐ผ
This is a great decaf! I grind it for pour overs and itโs very smooth. I find it neutral, not too bitter or acidic.

This is Good Decaf!
Ok so I don't like decaf coffee. At least I thought I didn't. I find myself having a medical need to stay away from caffeine and that shot my enjoyment of coffee. After trying several from the store and from that coffee place we all know, I was resigned to wistfully stealing a sip of hubby's caffeinated coffee now and then. After some more research, I decided to try two more decaf coffees. One was Purity Decaf Coffee and the other was No Fun Jo. I am giving No Fun Jo 5 stars because it was very good. It does not taste like decaf. It didn't bother my stomach. And the price is good. All positives. Between the two, I honestly have to give Purity a higher mark for taste and the way the company takes great pains to make sure it is free of contaminates, but its twice the price. Not complaining. Its worth it, but money can be tight these days for lots of us. My bottom line is if you want a nice cup of decaf and money is tight, go with No Fun Jo. If you want to try a really clean organic decaf coffee that tastes wonderful then go with Purity. Either one of them will be happily consumed at my house. Even my caffeine loving hubby likes them both. Think I will go brew some now. Writing this made me want some, LOL!
