Piatnik Automatic Card Shuffler

Easy to use and shuffles well.

Looking at what’s on offer in the range of the automatic shuffle, then I don’t think you can go wrong with this, as something to try out. It won’t get you out of dealing the cards, but if you have the onset of arthritis in your hands, it will ensure you don’t spill the cards all over the place, and it brings a common shuffle for all participants :-)

After reading some mixed reviews on here I wasn’t expecting too much from the card shuffler but went ahead and bought it as a gift because it seemed like one of the better options available and a fun little gadget.I was pleasantly surprised when I first received it because it came in nice packaging that was shrink wrapped.When we opened it up, the unit itself was of a decent quality. It was able to shuffle a deck of cards without a problem. It definitely makes a noise, but this wasn’t a dealbreaker.You would probably have to run it through a few times to get the deck really well shuffled, but you would do that anyway if you were shuffling manually.Overall, I would recommend it!

Speedy delivery but the motor on the real that shuffles the cards doesnt always work properly defeating the idea of the product. I sent the first back as it didnt work at all and have to say the service was brilliant and I get a replacement very quickly, it just doesnt work as well as would have liked or the one I had a couple of years ago

Ok at first but not very robust especially for two packs. Part of the drawer snapped very early on. Disappointing for the money

I was disappointed initially to realise that it doesn't randomise the cards - after you cut the deck and put half the cards on each side it is supposed to take one card at a time from each pile and make one pile. Only it doesn't. It does one of three things: It either doesn't feed cards in from either side, doesn't feed them in from one side (hence doesn't shuffle the cards, just reverses the order of half of them) or jams itself up by jamming the cards together in the middle - preventing the cards from being shuffled and forcing you to dig the cards back out the way they went in. It's an automatic card shuffler that doesn't shuffle cards!

To tell the truth i only really bought this as a bit of a joke for my father in law. The item was cheaply made and was temperamental at best. If you want a card shuffler that works spend more! That being said i didn't really care, we have always shuffled by hand and will continue to do so i guess.

Perfect machine to shuffle cards. You will not leave to many fat finger prints on your card deck. I received it as refurbished and was out-of-order. Fortunately, I managed to fix it, and because its price was very promotional, I decided to keep it instead of returning.
