Works very well with no drop in sound quality at any point, this was used to run in conjunction with a 5m hdmi from same company (didn't realise) CSL - 5m UHD HDMI 2.0b Cable | 4K @ 60Hz / 2160p / 4:4:4 (High Speed) with Ethernet | ARC and CEC | Deep Color | fully HDCP compliant / HD Ready / 3D TV / Playstation 4 Pro / Nintendo Switch ecc to my surround from my Gaming PC. Only issues I had were with selecting the output properly to be 5.1 on the system itself. It seems to be good quality and looks good.

Good value and quality. Arrived promptly. I recommend. Wish I’d bought one years ago, as it provides the best audio quality. (It would also have solved the problem i used to have of my TV not sending the audio from content watched via the inbuilt apps, such as Netflix, to my surround sound system - this was because although my TV had HDMI ports, they weren’t ARCs (audio return channels), so only the picture of the film we were trying to watch came through, along with the sound from the last tv channel we had been tuned to!)

A well built quality product with a good fit on the Panasonic TV and Yamaha AV amp. Works well compared to ordinary (analogue) jack leads. Only gripe is that it would be better to have the protective caps for the fibre ends on a retentive tie to the cable, rather than tiny stand alone caps which can be easily lost.

Cat bit straight through my old one which was flimsy in comparison to this. Very durable and perfect if you've got little furballs running around

Best price I could find for this item. Build quality is excellent and the cable arrived very well packaged. Connectors at each end have small plastic removable caps that also ensure no contamination can get into the fibre optic cable and also protects the sensitive ends during transit. Easy to install (just plug it in!) Sound quality is excellent between my 4k TV and Yamaha HT5000 Amplifier surround sound system.

Does what it says on the tin! Excellent cable. I have read elsewhere the cable was difficult to remove once fitted, I have not found this to be the case - you do need to ensure it is lined up straight before clipping in.No noticeable sound loss - used between Sony Bravia 49" 4K UHD 8088 model to Philips HTL5140 sound bar [does not have 4K pass through, hence digital out option], with very few sound setup changes (except sending through DTS Dolby from PCM).Highly recommend

This would be awesome, except for the fact that they only click into place with certain sockets and not others. I have to tape them to half the items I connect with. Shame

Bought this to replace an older optical lead that was around 15 years old... It was kicking out a whole bunch of electromagnetic energy that was causing a nearby TV aerial lead tounderperform. The electromagnetism measured 115 mT.This lead replaced it and dropped that figure to 40 mT. Brilliant improvement.As for performance, all leads are equal in terms of the passing of optical sound. However what this shows is that the premium in price buys you essential shielding. Run a dozen electrical units in a TV setup and pretty soon a 'leaky' cable will affect your situation - low signal, poor bandwidth, etc - so pay a little extra for good cables.
