Beware. There is more to a changing a key fob cover.
I got this product since my XUV key fob was damaged, but the key was fully functional. I saw a few videos on YouTube and managed to change the cover. Went down and tested the key and the doors unlocked just fine. I was super happy UNTIL I found out that my car wouldn’t start with the new key! It seems that there is a chip somewhere in the old key that is matched to the car, and changing the old cover removes that chip. Now your car does not recognize the new key and does not start. So, this product is good but be careful and use it only if you know what you’re doing.

Perfect fit but be very careful while replacing, especially for immobilizer.
Good quality Key Shell cover for XUV 500. Please beware that they supply only the front cover(as advertised) that means u have to use your old back shell with new front shell cover. Most important thing to know is that u have to remove the immobilizer chip from old front shell cover and insert into new front cover otherwise your car will lock/unlock but it will not start.
