This is a great tabletop stereo radio and CD player. I was home for an extended rehab after knee replacement surgery and needed a radio with AM and FM reception as well as CD capability. I also needed one with a remote to make program selections easily. This Jensen unit turned out to fit my needs perfectly. It's a nice, space-saving package that looks good on the nightstand or table. It has a unique modern look that should blend well with most decorating scheme. The remote is just the right size with a button layout that I can use in the dark if necessary. Programming the clock and radio stations was easy, with simple instructions in the owner's manual. The sound is good for listening in small rooms. The speakers are full-spectrum with rolloff at the bass end, as you would expect for a lightweight radio. Overall, this model delivers a pleasant and easy-to-use listening experience.

Love the sound it is high quality...easy set up...compact. A bit awkward to load. And for a senior person...lots of buttons.. My Bose just stopped playing CD's so I went looking .. The sound on the Jensen actually sounds so beautiful. Really pleased with the purchase and the price.

We are very pleased with the radio as to how it looks in our room. And... we like the fact that it has AM FM, CD player and even an auxiliary plug that allows us to play the old songs on our old I-Pod. We're looking for a replacement unit for our 17-year-old Bose wave radio and multi-disc CD player... the CD player stopped working several years ago and the radio gave out a few months ago. This new radio is not comparable to the Bose radio when it comes to sound. But then, the Bose was several hundred dollars more way back when. But it's not bad sound either. What we don't like is how many buttons must me memorized to get to wanted radio stations. Just assigning stations is difficult. Even when you have stations that are assigned... you can't just press one button to go to that station. You must cycle up the list until you get to the station you want. We like it, it's stylish and for us was a good value.

Excellent sound! I'm so pleased with this product. My old boss had broken and I really didn't want to spend all that money on a new one or even used one and so I got this as a substitute for my new cottage. It sounds crisp and clear at all volume levels. Good radio reception in a remote area too. I like to look in small profile of the design too. Thank you very much!

I listen to AM/FM talk radio and podcasts while working in my garage. For years I had an old radio/CD player. Decided to try this and it fits my needs. PROS: Size, remote, Bluetooth. CONS: Not great for music. Speakers could be better.

I received this product in a solid box and immediately left for a long vacation. By the time I returned home and got settled I opened the box, and it appeared in excellent condition. When I played two different book CD's and two different music CDs, none of them worked. It would not engage in the sound other than once in a while a loud squeal. I cleaned each of the cd's and it still did not work. Because I was beyond the 30-day return time, I had no option. I did contact them, and they said they would replace it. I offered to return it so they could review it and they said it wasn't necessary and they would send a replacement. I never received it, and I contacted Amazon chat to see if I and talked to the right people. Chat confirmed it and said do not worry the vendor was going to send me a new one. I of course did not receive it. So, this is all I can tell you. I thought the name Jensen meant something. In other decades it did. But now it appears it is riding on its name and just another corporation that is trying to sell billions of dollars of junk for landfills. This is so disappointing. I loved the looks of it and was especially happy that I could hang it on the wall. Such a sad legacy for a former quality company.

Don't like the way you have to load the CDs in the player . Sound is decent , size is good , remote slow to respond.
