Monchhichimania is back!
Plush Monchhichi monkeys as a phenomenon started in the 1970’s in Japan. In the 1980’s the craze reached the Western world and there was nothing more precious to my younger brother than his cuddly Monchhichi monkey. Nostalgia now returns as I recently bought this brand new soft and fluffy monkey as a birthday present to my wife. It was a huge instant hit. Not so much with my wife but more with the children that adore the doll. Moreover, when she showed it to her friends they also ordered Monchhichi dolls again, each more impressive and more sizeable than the other. The 20 cm doll itself is a bit small, for for the rest as they have always been been; of good quality. Though after a lot of hugs you will find that that furry loses its very fine structure. This Monchhichi is wearing two small pink red bows in her pigtails a white pink bib, and occasionally sucks her thumb. Like in the 1970 there are even some clothes available for Monchhichi, we’re considering to buy some. And I already had to put in an order for a few more furry Monchhichi friends as the children continue to fight over this one. happy hugs!
