I recently got the Arlo Home Security System SS1501 and I’m really happy with it! Setup was super easy — the keypad hub and sensors connected in just minutes . I love that each 8-in-1 sensor can detect motion, open/close, leaks, temperature changes and more, so I feel like the whole house is fully covered . I get instant alerts on my phone if anything happens, and there’s no contract required, which is a big win for me . Overall, it’s a great DIY security system that gives me peace of mind without extra hassle. Highly recommend!

I’m really impressed with the Arlo Home Security System. Setup was fast and straightforward. The app guided me through everything step by step, and all the sensors connected seamlessly. Within minutes, I had full coverage on my doors, windows, and key areas of the home. UPDATE TO REVIEW: After returning all the Arlo devices listed below and replacing them with Eufy cameras and a home security system, which were a delight to add/install, with well-written and illustrated instructions (which Arlo doesn't provide), I realized their tech support is doing the best they can with deficiently engineered products. The issues I experienced are mentioned often on the Arlo Community website, so it's not the tech support team's fault they can't make defective products work. Unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of your life trying to get Arlo devices to work, do a hard pass on their devices. I ran three PRO 4 CAMERAS for years, with no issues, and have had nothing BUT issues with the three PRO 5S CAMERAS and HOME SECURITY SYSTEM I bought a week ago, including: -- abysmally bad support for multiple malfunctioning products -- they don't know their own products, so just keep giving you the same (wrong) instructions, over and over again, and/or fruitlessly resetting/reinstalling devices, over and over again -- for hours and hours of frustration -- PRO 5S CAMERA batteries drained 27%, 24%, 17% in ONE day -- HOME SECURITY SYSTEM SENSORS don't make a sound unless you forcibly remove them from the door (not even loudly slamming the door works, but yank the sensors off the door, and the alarm works fine) -- ARLO COMMUNITY lists the exact same issues (batteries draining, sensors not working), with no resolutions -- the video recordings in the Feeds selection in their app will only open and display recordings for the current day; clicking on other days in the pop-up calendar does nothing -- many forums and Google searches state device problems can be resolved by joining their paid monitoring service -- Dedicated SecureLink -- but it had zero effect on the issues listed above I've tried every troubleshooting process I can find on the Arlo app, in my.arlo.com, in the Arlo community forum, in many Chats, and in the endless emails their tech support reps send me with the exact same (wrong) instructions and resources that didn't work during the Chat. No resolution to any issue.

Arlo has a great home security system tbat is super easy to install and set up. The home dock emits a pleasant sound that is loud enough to hear whenever a door is opened and when paired with the cameras allows for full coverage of your home. The camera’s themselves have an excellent picture quality and when subscribed to their security plan allow you to save all footage recorded. The battery life of them aswell is excellent. Unless the cameras are constantly going off (which can be adjusted) I only have to charge them once every couple months. This security system is outstanding, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable security system which is reliable.

I wanted a home security system that didn’t require a monthly contract, and this fits perfectly. Installation was surprisingly simple, I managed to set it up myself in less than an hour. The sensors are sensitive and reliable, and I really like having the keypad hub. The app gives me peace of mind when I’m not at home. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the instructions could have been a little clearer, but once it’s running, it works great. Feels secure and solid for the price.
