Bug curtain and self adhesive hooks
Not many flies about at the moment to test the curtain out which arrived as promised and looks great. However the extra self adhesive hooks that I ordered had not arrived (carrier being Hermes now called Evri). After a quick text to Ketoplastics the matter was quickly resolved and within a couple of days my replacement self adhesive hooks arrived. The hooks holding up the curtain are situated on the frame outside of the door and despite the rain and wind have stayed stuck fast holding the rod of the curtain securely. Very pleased so far. Thankyou Ketoplastics.

These hooks have a good adhesive.
If placed on a clean plastic suface this sticks well, we used it for fly screen fixture on the inner pvc door frame Also have 2 hooks fitted the the outside back door.

Buy some screws
These hooks were easy to apply (self-adhesive) and seemed strong enough to hold the recommended curtain pole and my medium-duty blinds (as opposed to heavy-duty as stated). Unfortunately the following day I found the blinds/pole had falled down and the hooks were hanging. These are suggested as being ideal for adhering to PVC/conservatories. Although the product works initially; I think the supplier should either stop advertising as such or provide the special fixing screws for PVC, this is what I am faced with buying so I can use these in my conservatory (which by the way has blinds to keep cool in hot weather).

brilliant!
i'm presuming the bad reviews on these hooks are because people have used them on wood we've got upvc windows and they stuck like cement ! i stuck one on slightly on the wonk and tried to take it off and there was no way in a million years it would budge ! i bought them to use with the fly curtains and the whole method is fantastic so easy to put up - and they really look quite good so cheap as well had my 1 year old daughter hanging off them several times and no sign of budging yet i'm a stereotypical non diy woman ! hubbie normally does all the diy stuff but i managed to put these all up myself - that's how easy they were ! i also bought some extra hooks to hold the fly curtain back when not in use - and would definitely recommend getting these for when the doors are shut etc . they work really well all in all very very pleased !!

A disappointing accessory.
Convenient to be given the opportunity to buy these at the same time as the blind, but a pity that they don't do the job too well. Others have complained about the lack of sticktion, but that hasn't been our problem ... thus far, anyway. What does irritate is that the upstanding part of the hook is too far from the backplate. This allows the flat plastic heading strip of the blind to lay flat (which it's inclined to do), thus leaving it without the rigidity to support the blind. It droops a couple of inches in the middle, which is very unsatisfactory. The cure is to bodge a couple of wedges to hold the mounting strip flat and vertical against the backplate - it then doesn't droop, but if I had wanted to bodge a solution, I could have done so without buying these hooks. OK, together with the strip-curtain, it's an all-round cheap solution, so I'll live with it until it fails, and then devise something better.
