Ordered a pack of 20 for basement remodeling project. Lights were received well packaged with zero damage. The light controllers are very easy to install and come with easy push-on power connectors. The lights are also very easy to install even directly under a joist with 1/2" drywall because they are so thin. They have a spring clamp that allows installation to ceiling drywall without the need for tools. They work very well with the dimmer switch and these 6" lights put out a very respectable amount of light that allow changing the temp between multiple hughes. Much later in the project I found that one of the controllers was bad. The light flickered when I plugged it in. I contacted the supplier and they quickly responded with a new light plus controller assembly. Couldn't be happier.

I hated high hats from Amazon they always gave me a problem either they didn't jive with the dimmer or something went wrong these seem to be getting better they dim nice easy installation will buy again

Easy to install and affordable. Works just as good as the commercial electric or halo ones at home depot but fraction of the price

I bought lights of a similar design from a major home improvement retail chain - I spent over $300 on 14 lights (which were the cheapest option there). After reading the reviews on these, I bought a 20 pack for less than half that cost and returned the others to the store. They are easy to install, are made well, and work great! i've got them set on 3000k, and the hue is great! My only complains are that the connector between the power box and the light itself lines up using a very subtle flat edge inside the connector housing (it can be difficult to get it to line up and connect quickly) and that when using them on a dimmer, the hue of the lights changes (loses warmth and gets a little weird) when dimmed to around 30% or below. That said I'm still incredibly happy with them - the light 'discs' are lightweight enough to be mounted in my drop ceiling.

We are building a house that requires around 200 can lights for both the inside and outside of the house. These were perfect for our budget and our home. The house is using 3/4 x 4" knotty pine for the walls and ceiling and we were afraid these wouldn't fit. I'm very glad to say that they fit and are holding in place as they should; however, I wouldn't want to put them in anything thicker than 3/4". The different temperature colors have enough variance that most (if not all folks) should be able to find a good fit for their needs. We have about 1/2 (~100) of these on 2 & 3-way dimmers and so far they are working very well. I had checked with a local electric wholesaler for lights just like these but they were close to $20 each. For 200 that would be almost $4,000 buying these through A* warehouse 10 boxes ran right at $700. We are very pleased and should these not last the expected 10 years (50K hours) I will update this review. For now though, I will highly recommend these units.

I am super particular and critical and so a few things in my review may seem picky. The first was that the color selection was inaccurate and not in a range that really made sense. The 2700k is seems lower than that and I could never imagine someone using that spectrum because it is very yellow. In fact the first two settings seemed lower than most would ever consider and I wish there was a step between the 4000k and 5000k which would be perfect. Upon further review I found these have an updated version where the spectrum selection is more realistic and ranges from 2700k to 6000k and they are just a little brighter also. The 4000k setting on these is very nice and if you don't really care about that, and don't need the added brightness provided by the other version these will suit you just perfectly. They are amazing lights that are built really well and work fantastic, dissipate heat really well and can be in direct contact with cellulose insulation. You wont be disappointed. Update.. after installing more of these in other rooms I still love these but there are two things I wish were different. First, I think 2700-3k-3500-4k-5k would be a much better than having a 6k option. For me the 3k is just a little too yellow but the 4k is just a little too sterile. Also, the sensitivity of dimmer function could be adjusted. At 50% the brightness is basically unchanged and at 1% they are nice and dim but could stand to go a little lower. It's not a really bid deal because you have plenty of range in between but for my smart switches and Alexa it is slightly inconvenient and not very intuitive as the percentage is so far from the true output and you have a tighter operating range.
