Himalayan Dog Chew Bacon Dog Treats Medium

So I got this one, as to check it out and see if the pup liked it, because we've got a Mal-mix that hyper chews EVERYTHING. She's about 30 pounds right now, so I thought, okay we'll be safe, it'll last a while... Three days later, it was completely gone. I thought, that can't be right, because it says it lasts a long time. I have no idea what a "long time" means, but I'm guessing it meant more than 3 days. The upside is, she loved it. So much so, I ordered a larger weight level set of 4, to see how long those last each. Hopefully more than 3 days. We're in the 4-7 month teething range right now, so chewing is life for this pup, and if it keeps her from chewing the wood baseboards and even drywall corners or furniture corners, I'll take it. Chewability seems to be fine for a 'hardened' treat like this. Our pup's activity level is through the roof so if it keeps her busy a few hours, awesome for us. She seems to like the bacon/cheese taste, so that's a plus too, but I mean what dog doesn't like bacon (real, not that fake stuff). Even if your dog is under the weight range for the product description, if you've got an "active" breed like a Mal, I'd suggest moving up in size just because if a 30 lb pup can chew up one of these in 3 days or less, they need just a little bit more to keep it going longer. It could also be because our pup gets bored easy and chewing is what they do when bored. We're passed the ultra sharp shredder first teeth and into the large molars coming in along with the other permanent adult teeth. Maybe for ultra chewers they could come up with a different formula, or maybe it's perfect the way it is.

My dog loves these yak sticks. They’re also quite durable, so she doesn’t get through it super fast.

My dogs love the added bacon in the chew. I unfortunately find I need to size up from what the company says is the size of chew for my dogs size. The medium did not last long even though it is the correct size for their weight. My mini aussie went through it in a hour or two which is costly for its price. When I size it it takes them much longer.

My pup loved this item but this only lasted 3 hours for my 1yr old pup. If your dog likes to chew I wouldn’t recommend it for longevity.
