LAKE CHAMPLAIN CHOCOLATES Organic Traditional Hot Chocolate, 16 OZ

This is the VERY BEST hot chocolate ever😋!! Last year I read about a taste test of hot chocolate mix, and this one was the winner. So I found it at Whole Foods and bought some. So glad I did! And ONLY TWO ingredients, cocoa and sugar. The instructions say to make it with milk. I don't always have milk on hand, don't use it that much. So last year I had to make it with water, and it was still okay. I sometimes add a pinch of allspice, cinnamon or pumpkin spice.Of course whipped cream on top is great! Sometimes in the summer months I will have some with a pinch of allspice. I decided a couple of years ago to not wait for the winter months to drink some, life's too short! So I went to make some on the weekend, and I had just enough for one cup. I try to have a backup, but forgot about it. So of course Amazon to the rescue, thank goodness! At first glance it might appear to be a bit pricey, but the mix makes 16 servings --- about a dollar a cup. It's totally worth it, it's that good. I know I will not buy any other brand, plus it's not super sweet like the other brands, it actually tastes like chocolate! Buy it, you will be glad you did! Especially since you know it's "better" for you with only two ingredients! 👏

This is not very chocolatey. Even adding an extra spoonful, it was still very light colored and a weak chocolate flavor. If you are looking for a sweet chocolate, this is not it.

This was a tasty product, but I was expecting an entire mix that would include powdered milk. This was cocoa and sugar. You had to heat your own milk and stir in the product.

I read this is the highest rated hot chocolate so I had to try it. It is not your average Swiss miss mug. Full of chocolate flavor without the crazy sweetness
