BePuzzled | Hedgehog Standard Original 3D Crystal Puzzle, Ages 12 and Up

Overall, this is a very fun little puzzle that is very worth the price I paid (about $7 on sale). The build was a little finicky, but it's a puzzle so figuring it out is half the fun. It took me about two hours, and I think the 12+ age range is right, although it does require some patience and thinking-through to complete. There is a locking bar that runs through the center of the puzzle and holds the core of it together. It took a bit of manual dexterity to hold the puzzle together while I set the bar in place. The finished puzzle seems pretty solid sitting on my desk. Not sure that it was really necessary, but I went back and put a dollop of clear gorilla glue in the hole for the locking bar to keep everything secure. There are a few external pieces that sort of just plug in on the body of the 'hog - those seem pretty secure, but it would be easy enough to use a drop of super glue in case they ever come loose. I dropped a few individual pieces onto the floor while I was building and they were fine, though I worry about the strength of the spines if I were to drop the finished piece. It's a very good-looking display piece, though I imagine dusting it off will be a nightmare, but that's an issue for future-me.

We have built tons of these crystal puzzle sets and this is by far one of the coolest ones yet! The design is awesome and the blue color is perfect.

We have ordered many of these for our kids throughout the years and they love them! Always great quality and fun to assemble.

This little puzzle's pretty cute. The instructions were tough to follow and the pieces were rather brittle, one broke on us & we were being careful. It was inexpensive so I won't ding too much for that, but it's worth the awareness. I don't recommend it for kiddos who'll try to force the pieces, it needs a bit more finesse.

Good puzzle

The only real problem with this puzzle is that the eyes are a bit of a pain to put in. Otherwise, this was an interesting novelty. The tolerances on the pieces were a bit looser than I was expecting, but it stayed together after assembly just fine.

If instructing aren't included, maybe put something in the box with the web address instead of just having it on the box. The letters and numbers used to identify the pieces are hard to read. Maybe put a sticker on the pieces so that it's easier to tell them apart. I still haven't built it because of these issues.

Las figuras cuentan con una inicial y un número y pensé que ese era el orden, pero no es así. Por favor nada les cuesta incluir un instructivo. Tomen en cuenta que tendrás que buscar como armarlo cuando debería de traer las instrucciones dentro del paquete.
