GET IT!!!
My dogs and I use this thing daily!! The balls don't last as long as I thought but this is an amazing product. I literally have used this thing daily for weeks now and it functions perfectly!! We love it!!! So much fun! The balls are soft and bouncy just like tennis balls but they squeak and my frenchton can squeak them and chew them!! Its not too big but it shoots so well. You can even cock it at different levels so it Will shoot different distances! So cool 😎 😍

Definitely buy this launcher, but DON"T USE THE BALLS!!
Unless you really need a shorter gun, get the long one. My dog loves this launcher. The sound of cocking it and firing it really sets him off. The first one I had failed, probably because it was left outside and the elements degraded the rubber band. I would have replaced the band, but couldn't find a way to remove the front plastic part on the barrel without destroying it. It doesn't shoot as far as using a manual thrower or even throwing it by hand, but that hasn't been a problem. It is hard for small kids to cock it and pull the trigger, which can lead them to cocking it while having it pointed at their face, which obviously should be avoided. The launcher is so much fun for kids that you should cock it yourself, and then help them pull the trigger if necessary. If you use it at the beach, you will need to rinse it out every few minutes to get the sand out. My only complaint with this toy is the low quality balls that come with it. A regular tennis ball lasts quite a while with my Lab, but the seams in the nerf balls are instantly removed and swallowed. The rest of the ball follows soon after, breaking up into easily swallowed pieces. It is a mystery to me why Nerf would spend the money on making these defective and dangerous balls, when the lowest quality tennis balls would have been vastly superior. The fix is easy: throw the supplied balls away as soon as you open the package and get some of the cheapest regular tennis balls that you can find. I rated this launcher five stars because it is pretty perfect aside from the balls.

Good for dogs
Doesn’t lance as far and my dog chewed up the balls pretty quickly but I still like how I can relieve her energy and other our moving around I can sit and watch her play with

Great quality toy
It launches about as far as you would expect, going a little shorter than a typical human throw. My dog loves this thing! She got conditioned to hear the cock of the gun and that makes her go crazy :). It's great for any size yard, because there's not too much to worry about it going to far (you can point it up higher in the air though just in case). The ball it comes with is standard, but it can be used with any tennis ball if your dog is prone to losing them like mine is. The gun is about the same build quality as any other Nerf Gun, I don't expect it to break or fail any time soon. This will work for any dog who can hold a standard size tennis ball in their mouth.

Updated: It Broke
Updated 7/30: It broke. My husband thinks he can fix it but this is absolutely a waste of money. If I could still return it, I would. __________ Original Review: We have a fetch-driven dog and thought this would be a fun way to throw the ball far. This might seem obvious but this is purely a novelty and not practical at all. The gun is loud when fired and loading the ball, pulling back the slide and pulling the trigger gets real annoying after a few throws. We'll probably just use this when my niece and nephew are around but I suspect they'll need help using it. The trigger actually needs a lot of pressure to pull back. I think this is just a personal quirk, but I don't have enough finger strength to just use my pointer finger pad to pull the trigger. In order for me to shoot, I have to curl my finger completely around the trigger and then pull. It's hard for me to explain, but basically my first finger knuckle is doing most of the work. And the gun is designed terribly so that every time I pull the trigger, I pinch my finger pad each time. Even real guns aren't this hard to use. I really do not like this and would have returned it but my husband enjoys it so at least he gets some use out of this. In my opinion, this is overpriced and silly. You'll use this a handful of times and then it will get collect dust. Just stick with the reliable ChuckIt Launchers. Side note: even though it still works, the slide mechanism doesn't automatically go back to the start position once the back is launched. It quick working after a few shots. So now, after we launch the ball, we have to push the slide forward, pick up the ball and then pull the slide back. When it was working, the slide mechanism would automatically snap forward so all you had to do was pull the slide back after every shot, now it just added an extra step.

Would definitely buy again
The Nerf tennis ball blaster is the best toy for my over active German Shepherd. He finally has to stop and rest. His way of resting is not bringing me the ball. It wears him out and it is easy for me to send the ball more than 3 feet. I am so happy I decided to get Nerf Tennis Ball Blaster. Only one negative aspect. My dog destroyed the nerf ball after the fourth catch. Using tennis balls that fit but not tightly. He has gone through 6 tennis balls, but we both love the energy he uses when retrieving the ball. Thank you Nerf!

Great Gun, lasts about 2 weeks
I love this gun for playing with our dog. He is crazy about it. Love that it uses tennis balls. But after only 2 days it started failing occasionally. After 2 weeks it did not work at all anymore. I already got a new one. But it is the same. The quality of this full plastic toy is just not good at all.

Worth the money
Shoots ball over 75 feet, seems to be of good quality but balls don't last if your dog is a chewer . Balls bounce high and good for catching.
