I've bought this item three times in a row as my mobile phone. I am 83 years old and can't cope with these new smartphones, as they are so confusing, very big and have no physical buttons. Which is why I keep buying this phone. A small phone size in my pocket because it folds over, and it has physical keyboard buttons. It is perfect for me at my age. I also like the clock on the front of the phone, the fact it has a torch on it which is turned on by the side button, and it's nice to have the charging cradle that i simply pop the phone into.

Brilliant little fone ...so easy to use ... price fantastic

My elderly mother in law got this phone in November 2024. After just over a year it has completely stopped working - won’t turn on at all. Total waste of money. I’d like to return it but don’t know how.

Good phone, easy to use but disappointed with battery charging and life, runs down very quickly and charging can be a bit hit and miss, may need to buy a second battery, something I should not have to do.

Our Doro 4020 became unreliable as 2G was being phased out. It was my wife’s phone; she’s elderly and is “technically challenged”. More up-to-date Doro models get poor reviews, so I decided to try this phone. I didn’t want any smart or Internet features, just a good, reliable 4G dumb phone. It’s certainly an excellent replacement for our Doro phone. I had no problem setting it up except I couldn’t work out how to stop the beep and the number read-out when a button was pressed. I contacted Artphone and got a very rapid, helpful and pleasant reply. (Settings > Customise > Other alert rings > key tone, and, dial tone). It was very reassuring to receive such quick support from China, and that confirms my confidence that this phone is an excellent buy. The FM radio is a nice surprise and it works quite well. No complaints about the battery life, either. It’s a pity that Doro seems to have lost it’s way, but anyone looking for a phone for an elderly person will be very happy with this Artphone.

The phoneG6 4G is part of the Artfone range ideal for the elderly with its large buttons.I have used the CF241 for 5 tears Without any problems but in light of the need for larger than 3g i decided on an upgrade model namely Artfone G6 4G. This is very similar in many ways but with additional features.its operatllion and set up is similar and easy. my only concern is the acceptance of a Sim card nano Micro Sim.i have struggellTd getting the phone to accept any of AEE or Vodafone brand.Onthis issue i am in discussion with Artfone and Amazon.This is pity for such a fine spec phone.

I bought this phone for my elderly dad in September and he loved it. It’s easy to use, has a straightforward menu, great sound and volume and the best phone I’ve found for him in years. Today all was fine with the phone in the morning but when he went to answer a call in the afternoon, both screens were blown and the caller couldn’t hear him clearly. I’m very disappointed. He was so happy with it and I thought I’d finally found the perfect phone for him. Unfortunately, what was a great value phone is now quite an expensive buy given the short life it had. If it hadn’t broken, I would have given it 5 stars. Amazon, is this covered by the warranty?

Da meine Mutter sich nicht zu einem Smartphone lässt, aber bei ihrem alten Mobiltelefon der Akku ziemlich fertig ist, habe ich für sie das C1 bestellt. Die Tasten und die Anzeigen sind schön groß, maximale Lautstärke ist gut (allerdings habe ich noch nicht herausgefunden, wie man es beim Ein- und Ausschalten leiser stellen kann), es gibt eine Taste für die Lampe und einen Schieber für die Tastensperre. Mit dem Notfallknopf brauchen wir uns zum Glück noch nicht zu befassen, aber grundsätzlich schon gut, dass man dann per Knopfdruck mehrere Leute anrufen/benachrichtigen lassen kann. Ebenfalls nicht schlecht, dass man zwei SIM-Karten nutzen kann (sie vorerst also weiter unter der alten Nummer zu erreichen wäre, wenn ich sie doch endlich zu einem anderen Anbieter überreden können sollte). Negativ ist allerdings, dass das Gehäuse im Vergleich zu dem alten Markengerät schon etwas "billiger" wirkt. Dadurch ist das C1 aber auch leichter, obwohl es größer ist.
