Excellent pedal good value for money A very versatile effect unit

Had great fun playing with this pedal and in the couple of songs I've written and used this on, it really sounds great, Combine that with the Boss guarantee of a sturdy and playable pedal and it means even a heavy handed friend dropping it while helping to set up at shows won't stop it from sounding and working perfectly.

My unit had no touring use but just stopped working. All the phase times became the same. Odd issue but Boss told me the RAM board had gone and that it was tough luck. Wouldn't buy Boss again. Terrible support.

Boss fixed it! Thus, this pedal is now awesome. Little known fact about this pedal, is that at the lowest setting on the resonance knob, it will give you varying cocked-wah tones when you set the rate to minimum. Which btw way, is worth purchasing this in and of itself. Great for punch through in a band setting for a lead or switch-up. People confuse this option for tone-suck. It's not tone-suck, it's changing your base tone on each phase setting - it is an awesome feature. Think: a different Q-Zone for each stage. Anyway... It helps with running it before distortions when cutting through the mix. The 4th stage phaser does have a minor throb that is reminiscent of a lighter univibe - which rules. (Yes I have legit univibes, I know what the real ones sound like). And you can nearly get that famous Super Phaser sound on the 12 stage setting. It is gently different. ...6th stage is a less warbly phase 90 style, while also giving you the versatility option to either run overdrives before and after it - and still sounds good. And no background hiss! The step phasing is excellent. Think: tremelo in seeming random frequencies. Turns out it is very useful behind distortions. (Didn't see that one coming - fun as hell)... Never thought I'd ever use it. I love that setting. Placed early in your pedal chain, this could quite possibly be an always on pedal for you... certainly is becoming that for me. Yes, the old versions had volume drop - but the new versions however do not! Buy a new one - its totally worth it.

Boss pedals what is there to say, it’s a boss

Really like this pedal. First time with a phase shifter and I'm having fun playing around with it. I plug it in at the end of my practice sessions because it's fun, did I mention that it's fun.

BOSS初期のPhaser（PH-1）と直列に接続していますが、アナログとデジタルの差は大きく違います。歪み系の後に接続するとわかりやすいですがPH-3は高音の位相を細かく設定出来るので、PH-1（アナログ）とPH-3（デジタル）で使い分けると良いです。ちなみに、PH-3の後にはジェット音にするためフランジャー（BF-2）で位相を使い分けています。 写真に写ってませんが、前段でOD-3→BD-2→DS-1→FZ-5をルーブして、後段では、コーラス(CH-1)→トレモロ→リバーブ(RV-6)→シンセ(SY-1)→デジタルディレイ系(DD-3T、PS-2)としています。 エフェクト音とエフェクターのレイアウトしては試し音出しのため、写真は部屋が雑然（というかカオス状態）となってますが、ご参考までに添付致します。
