Brooks England Swift Bicycle Saddle

This is everything I wanted in a saddle for my Brompton. Stylish and quite comfy straight out of the packaging. Doesn’t feel as if it will take long to wear in. I honestly can’t believe how comfy it is, as when looking and feeling it , it makes you think that somehow it’s not going to be comfy. The quality is second to none. It costs a lot but it’s worth it. This is my second one, I’ve tries others in the past but Brooks to me are the best. Go for it!

Fantastic saddle! It definitely needs to be set up properly to gain the full comfort, so if you're finding it uncomfortable I would advise tweaking its adjustment or taking it to someone who is more experienced to do it for you. With mine properly fitted I rode 40 miles yesterday and didn't feel even a hint of numbness or soreness, and it isn't even broken in yet! Not for weight weenies, but definitely for those who value comfort and dislike wider saddles like the B17 as I do.

Looks fantastic out of the box & will look even better as it gets worn in. Worth the investment as it will last a lifetime.

For long distance rides and touring, you can’t beat a Brookes… especially if you’ve got a bony backside. Larger bums may disagree !?

real quality item. Feels heavy although weight is stated! Yet to be fully broken in - initially not as comfortable as b17

After reading many positive Brooks reviews, I decided to go for one. I didn't like it at all. I appreciate you have to break them in and I was willing to give it a go. However, it was so uncomfortable, it hurt...a lot! My 8 mile commute to work was unbearable...even after several attempts. Not only that, but I was sliding around all over the saddle. This meant I had to put more pressure on my hands to hold me in place on the saddle. I tried different saddle angles but none held me steady. So not only did my bum hurt, but so did my hands! I expect I'll get some stick from die-hard Brooks fans, but sorry, I'll stick with more modern, padded saddles.

Qualität - Qualität - Qualtät Mehr kann man dazu nich sagen. Unglaublich schöne Verarbeitung und hoffentlich bleibt er mir noch Jahre erhalten. Vor allem die ausgedehnte 10 Jahres-Garantie hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Afin de magnifier mon fixie vert jaguar, je voulais une selle en cuir de la marque Brooks. j'hésitais avec la B17 et la Swift. J'ai finalement acheté cette dernière et ne regrette pas mon choix. Elle est confortable et très classe avec ses rivets en bronze. Le réglage de tension du cuir s'effectue sur le devant avec une clé Allen comme toutes les selles Brooks. Une petite housse en tissus est vendue avec pour la protéger de la pluie. Cette selle est fabriquée en Angleterre et magnifie d'une belle façon mon vélo.

I own it few days. First impression - It is amazing. Nicely packed, super look, great feelings. Definitely need to break it in a bit, but after first ride it is absolutely comfortable for me. The pack contains a saddle, 2,5 gr proofide leather grease, wrench, and manual. (there is no rain cover for it). 10 years guarantee if you register your product on Brooks website. I recommend this saddle for ones who are looking for a comfort, style, or just a nice present for beloved ones. :)
