We loved it
A very good and enjoyable little kit to start working on, for this type of model. Challenging but fairly straightforward. This is not a clip together 10 minute toy. Its a fiddly, and at times trying, model that will take a few hours to complete, with care and attention. Not for children under 14.

Nice build with one or two tricky bits.
Fairly easy build the only problem I had was when the tailfin broke apart when I tried to fold it together as the contact point where the two peices meter are so small, so be careful when you get to that part. Otherwise a really nice little build.

Very fiddly to build, poor instructions.
The instructons could do with some explanatory text in places, it's easy to miss a step and difficult to go back if you do. Need - Fine strong tweezers, flat side cutters, small pliers and something like a small art paint brush. There are some parts that need to be curved and a thin dowel or brush handle is a good way to do that. A little glue to hold the more shooglie parts after it's built.

Could Do Better!
I purchased this model as a Christmas present for a friend who is into light modelling and for around £10 was a kind of novelty stocking filler. However once it arrived I realised it was quite a bit smaller than it looks in the photo. I did give the Tiger Moth as a present and was later informed that the recipient had sadly failed in making the model due to it being so small, fiddly and flimsy. I wished it was twice the price and twice the quality and twice the size...I am sure so many of these models are now sadly in bins everywhere.

Harder to build than I expected
Having had such good results with the lighthouse and seeing the Spitfire was also rated as ‘easy’, I decided to have a go. Hmmm. Well, experienced model makers or seasoned users of the other kits might regard this as easy - I struggled. Maybe I didn’t pay enough attention to the instructions, or maybe I was overconfident after the success with the lighthouse & thought I’d do even better with this? I’m not sure. At any rate, the final result was disappointing, with pieces that didn’t quite fit together properly, uneven curves & wobbly tail fins. I think it’s more down to me than the actual model & maybe I’ll buy another at some point & try again with the benefit of hindsight. It’s put me firmly in my place with regard to my model making skills though & I won’t be trying anything other than ‘easy’ ones for the foreseeable future.

Buon modello nonostante le limitazioni dovute a questo tipo di modellini che rendono di più con figure più squadrate. Assemblaggio abbastanza semplice ad incastri, una volta finito il modellino misura all'incirca 11x15x5cm

The person I gifted this airplane to had fun building it and now displays it in a prominent place. I would recommend getting some of the metal earth tools to help the assembling of the model go easier.
