This is great! I bought it to weight feed for horses. I keep it in the barn (in its box). It’s very accurate and easy to use. Maybe the readout light could be brighter.

When I bake, I look up weights for the ingredients and write them on the recipe. It is so much easier and more accurate to weigh the ingredients instead of scooping them in a cup. It is especially good for messy ingredients like peanut butter or honey because you don't have to clean out a measuring cup. This scale is easy to use and has easy-to-read numbers.

It's hard to put into words, how much I'm enjoying this scale. My sister is "the baker" in our family because she was seemingly born with the ability to produce magically perfect pastries and baked goods. This thing has helped me level the playing field a bit. Outstanding value for the money. Lightweight, and its compact size/shape makes it easy to stash upright against the inside of a cupboard. Because I can go weeks between uses when not baking for the holidays, I store mine in the cabinet with the battery outside of the unit. The battery will never leak inside of it then, and you'll literally go a year or two between battery changes.

Very nice scale! I purchased it to make sourdough bread and it works so well. The price is also great!
