Kimbo Extra Cream Espresso Coffee Beans, Medium Roast (1 x 1kg Bag)

Kimbo coffee beans were never really on my radar, but my son suggested them to me telling me it was a nice smooth cup with good crema, and he wasn't wrong. I'm usually a Lavazza buyer, maybe not for discerning coffee drinkers out there who want the very best, but I like it, so I buy it. But maybe it's time to expand my coffee bean buying taste buds and try other brands. The Kimbo beans have a lovely smooth delicate taste, not overly bitter, just right for my taste, maybe a little stronger roast would be better, as I do like that coffee flavour hit, but by no means are Kimbo weak. Overall I've enjoyed Kimbo beans, if have no hesitation buying them again.

Makes a fabulous espresso. Despite the high robusta content it isn't a caffeine bomb. Grind fine and there is a delicious creamy body. Recommended.

We were introduced to this brand no our hoste whilst staying on Naples, enjoyed it so much I was straight on Amazon to purchase when we returned to the UK. Good depth of flavour without being bitter, produces a good crema

This is lovely coffee

Really enjoy these coffee beans. We use them in our De'longhi bean to cup machine. We're not coffee connissiuers, so can't comment on things like the 'body' and 'hinfs of'. As for the aroma - it smells like coffee!! But a very nice rich coffee, like walking into a coffee shop (not opening a jar of instant!). We always wait for eachother to be home when we open a new bag as we love the small of the beans. Great value too, I love that you can buy a bulk pack. Would recommend.

I use around 1kg of fresh coffee every 1-2 month and I like to try differing types and flavours. I'm a little undecided on the Kimbo Extra Cream Espressso. It delivers a good cream but it lacks any real flavour or depth. There is nothing 'stand out' about this coffee and I'm never left wishing I had more coffee in my cup (A gauge I use to know I really like a particular coffee). Give it a try...it could be my taste buds are a little off as this coffee seems to get good reviews.

Per me è il kimbo che più ricorda quello che si faceva nelle case napoletane . I radical chic del caffè storceranno il naso, ma per me il caffè senza robusta non è caffè. Speriamo non esca fuori produzione , soppiantato dalle tante inconsistenti, costosissime e modaiole nuove miscele .

I think it is supposed to be a medium roast but i have to say it is more of a dark roast. It lacks aroma and has a strong smell when grounded. It gives a nice cream on a double espresso but it tastes like old beans slightly molded. Maybe i ended up having a bad batch but i won't risk buying this brand again.

Hervorragender Kaffee, wir nutzen die Bohnen hauptsächlich für Espresso und Cappuccino. Wir mahlen elektrisch und machen den Kaffe dann in der Siebträgermaschine. Wenn man alles richtig einstellt Geschmack ist kräftig, voluminös nicht sauer, Konsistenz cremig - genauso wie in Italien an Bar. Einfach lecker!
