Perfect thread sealer. Used on my turbo oil drain as it is a brass fitting that screws into the block. Followed the instructions, nice and easy and doesn't leak. Great product and good price

I bought this as I've always had a slight weep on my vans sump plug when i do an oil change despite using a new plug and washer every time i used this and its gone now.. it states it doesn't set so I just hope I can undo it when I do my oil next but im confident it will... iv ended up using on other stuff around the house so its proved more useful than I initially thought

I used it on an exhaust stud that was leaking oil, and it performed perfectly even at the high temperatures involved.

Follow the instructions properly and mix the sealant be kneading the tube top to bottom. I've applied it to the fill and drain plugs on a transfer box, and two differentials, that's six plugs in total. Not a single drop of oil has leaked out.

I have applied this seal on thread bolt and left it for almost 80 hours, unfortunately still not dry

I was installing a three-way valve and I didn’t have the means to pressure test my threaded connections until everything was threaded and sweated in place. Once the rest of the fittings were sweated together, I couldn’t tighten the threaded connections. The first time around, I used teflon tape and it didn’t work well. Next, I tried this permatex sealant because it would make a permanent anaerobic seal, and it can withstand sweating connections nearby. It worked great! The connection has been holding for months now with no water leaks. I recommend wearing nitrile or latex gloves when handling, it’ll let you work more quickly and cleanup easier.
