Excellent product, great price for what it does, ideal for macro photography without stretching the budget.

Nice unit but not enough power for using in the field but fine for the studio. I am now using the Godox MF-12 twin macro flash system for field photography.

Fantastic bit of kit. Really well made. I had one of their cheaper versions. This is so much better and well worth the price. The build quality is really solid. Super simple to use and adjust. A little tip: I cut some fine lint cloth into a circle and fixed it over the light. This now gives a beautiful soft lighting effect and can be easily removed if you want it a bit harsher. The lights are not super harsh. It would be great if the manufacturer made a clip on diffuser.

Bought this as wanted to do iris photography but didn't actually set it up ontill months later and it doesn't work supose my own fault was not checking it straight away contacted the manufacturers as was out of the return time frame and haven't heard anything back

Amazing lighting for the price, used for macro mushroom photography.

I have high hopes of this product working really well for macro photography, especially for natural history close-ups. However, the two arms are very wobbly, as if they are not connected securely to the main unit. Perhaps they are ok but they don't inspire confidence.

I have a speedlite, a ring flash and various LED boxes for my macro photography. I'm a big fan of this lighting kit. The arms are flexible enough to manoeuvre into position, but stiff enough to stay put. There is some unwanted flexing around the cold shoe and main body of the light, but there's no sign of fatigue, so shouldn't be anything to worry about overall, but I'll be keeping an eye on it anyway.It appears that you can charge it while it's being used. I'm not recommending that you should do this, but if, like me, you are taking 100+ shots for a stacked macro image, not running out of light during the session is a huge win.I'll update this review if needed, but right now this get a big recommendation from me.
