iDesign Razor Holder for Shower with Power Lock Suction, Clear, 2.25" x 2.25" x 2.5"

At the price this was more expensive than the other shower caddies but I ended up getting this because my wire one had been scratching the new tiles that my husband had put up (not good!) Of entirely plastic construction this seemed a safer bet.It was easy to put up with no drilling into those precious tiles and seems to lock very securely. It says it is also easy to remove it, but I haven't as yet tried this. I have loaded it up with bottles of shampoo and shower gel and so far its still holding up.My only gripe would be that the bottom part is taken up by notches for toothbrushes, when personally I would prefer another shelf as I use this in my shower and we don't use our toothbrushes there!UPDATED - It has now fallen off 3 times. The first couple of times I was able to get it back on again but the third, I have given up, it just won't stick up and stay. My husband thought there was some type of coating on it which has now worn away. Sadly we are now back to the scratchy wire caddy. Very disappointed.

I purchased two of these last year for £1.99 each, both sold and dispatched from Amazon itself. They’re very simple holders as with most iDesign items and do the job they’re meant for perfectly. I imagine they would fit a wide range of razor sizes and weights!Suction for these is generally very good and certainly strong enough to hold a razor (definitely clean the tile/glass before attaching for best suction). As with any of these types of items however, after a while of being inside a shower and exposed to constant condensation; they do occasionally fall of the wall, usually resulting in a crash to the shower floor and a subsequent razor head change. It’s for this reason I can’t award the full 5 stars...Having said this, since I bought these holders in August of 2020 I’ve only had them fall off the wall three times to date in total, and as I say; I use them INSIDE my shower where there’s tons of condensation. All things considered they’re great quality for the price and far more effective than high street shop bought versions.One downside to note however, is that although I’m a really big fan of the iDesign brand, as with other iDesign items they generally all come backed on card only without any external packaging. In normal times this is fine but in the age of a pandemic it means that we end up spraying and rinsing the items to within an inch of their life before using them; an added hassle that we could do without.A good purchase that works very nicely. Also, if used on tiles/glass (NOT in a shower environment) I imagine they would get all 5 stars!

I got it 4 years ago.Easy to attach and it holds great.It does fall of the tiles occasionally, maybe once in a month or two. I would recommend it

sticks well to the glass screen and does hold the Gillet men's Mac 3 and the ladies' Venus ( although not straight)Only been up a few days but no issues so far.Update.... one fell of the shower screen after 3 weeks. but put back up and all ok so far.Further update: What a load of rubbish. Both keep falling off, and now the Razor has taken a chunk out of the shower tray when it fell. looking to buy something else not

This stays up the majority of the time but has a tendancy to fall down. Not worth returning for the price

Most important is the suction and strength where this has excellent suction that is uses the hooks as a mechanism to pull in the suction cup when it is applied to a wet/damp surface so easy to apply and sticks very very well. Only used to hold Venus ladies razor so plenty strong enough and could be used to hold something much heavier. It is reliable and looks great (not cheap and not tacky).

Excellent holder for your razor or other shower items

This product does exactly what it's meant to do and it looks pretty good too. I was expecting some cheap looking 'chrome effect' piece of nonsense and wasn't entirely hopeful that it would remain stuck to the tiles in the shower, but was pleasantly surprised.The suction cap is pretty robust and it hasn't yet fallen off the tiles some considerable time after buying it!I bought another one a while ago for my wife and found when it arrived that the suction cap had been slightly bent when it had been put in the envelope resulting in a wee kink in the rubber. This meant that it did not properly stick to the tile as air was getting under the cap.I resolved it by putting the whole thing in a mug of nearly boiling water and leaving it to steep for a few minutes. Doing so relaxed the rubber and it went back to it proper shape and has been fine since!
