Very heavy feels like it’s packed with sand hopefully it’ll protect what we need protecting

It's very heavy and only just takes A4 but I assume that's due to all the protection - the walls are about 4in thick. I will have to think carefully where to store it in the house so it's both out of the way but at the same time, accessable, as I won't be lifting or moving it around. Top of the wardrobe storage it is not! I cannot, and hopefully never can, comment on its efficacity but I feel fairly confident.

I bought one of these many years ago but wanted a new one. It’s very robust but a tad annoying that it doesn’t hold the same amount as this new model. A4 documents are a tight fit. I’ve had to weed out things that are not important to warrant putting in the new box. Great quality still but a bit on the shallow side. I will be keeping it though.

Was bought to protect against fire. Important documents, and sentimental items such as old photos will be protected should the worse happen .

It was a gift and recipient was very happy.

Having read the reviews I was surprised just how much I was able to fit inside this box. It does enable flat storage of A4 and can cope with a snug envelope (C4). Be aware that it is quite heavy and too large to fit in the bottom of a filing cabinet, which was my original intention. Hope it never needs to be tested.

I have returned this product for a refund - not the quality I was expecting at all. It was covered in white grit - and had x2 cracks on the bottom. Badly packaged - I think this one had been dropped and kept on the bottom of a pile in a builders yard for years. There were a few really sharp edges where the plastic hasn't been finished properly. Im really surprised - I was expecting a better quality product for the price. Update: the supplier phoned me to apologise and issued an immediate refund.

This Sentry Safe box It's a lot heavier than you might think - it has to be solid in order to create a seal in the event of a fire that will protect your documents for up to 1-hour at 1700 degrees F! If you are looking for a Fire Safe and Secure safe to prevent your valuables from being stolen it will cost a lot more... So to get a SAFE that is also Fireproof, look for features that the safe is UL Classified to endure 1 hour at 1700°F that will keep interior temperatures safe for irreplaceable documents and valuables...

Hallo, ich habe das Gerät am 10.05.2015 gekauft, und war damit bisher vollauf zufrieden. Heute nun, am 28.07. 2016 will ich den Safe öffnen ... Fehlanzeige: Der Rund-Schlüssel lässt sich zwar einstecken, aber nicht drehen. Der Safe bleibt mir verschlossen und ich komme nicht an meine dringend benötigten Unterlagen heran. Pretty solid safe and pretty heavy too. I would say it’s about the weight of a small adult easily. Happy to have a secure place to store some personal items.
