Beautiful and functional! Perfect for anyone who loves to moon gaze.
I love this light. The surface pattern is very realistic and I love how you can change the phases of the moon even though I keep it on full most of the time. I bought one over 12 years ago for my then newborns nursery. I hung this light on his wall along with hundreds of those glow in the dark stars dangling from his ceiling with short pieces of fishing line. It was so magical I have never taken it down. The other day I decided I needed a nightlight that I could reach easily when I needed to get up in the middle of the night. I have three dogs that lay in random spots around ny bedroom floor and I end up stepping on them everytime I go to the bathroom. I was going to steal the one from my sons room but I didn't have the heart to move it so i just ordered a new one. I am so glad i did. I had forgotten how bright it is. It will light up the entire room with a soft glow and it actually gives you the same feel of a real moon lit room. I think it is the color of the light. It has a blue-ish tint instead of the more yellow tinted light that you get from a standard light bulb. I keep the remote on my nightstand so it is easy to reach for to turn on. In addition to it being functional, it is just really pretty, even for an old lady's bedroom :-)

It gives an enjoyable moonlight glow and can be set to the phases.
I’m so happy with this item! The look of the light is so “real” it makes a lovely glow in my apartment. Batteries are needed. Double A’s and Triple A’s; for the item and the remote. It’s easy to use the phases and the timer. Very enjoyable.

Great night light
This was so much better than I had anticipated! This was great size and I love that the moon was textured and its appearance was true to the actual moon. The quality is great and seems to be durable. The kids loved it and thought it was such a fun night light. Easy to put on the wall and just takes a battery for the moon. The kids are now able to see the phases of the moon whenever they want using the remote control that comes with it.

A solid educational winner for our family!
This is a solid educational winner for our family. I bought one for my daughter when she was in 3rd grade, and now I bought one for my grandson. Having a moon on the wall of your room and having the ability to control the moon phases with a remote is mesmerizing! It's a great night light for a child, and encourages curiousity and understanding of our solar system. I am thrilled this is still available, and the quality is just as good as the first purchase 20 years ago.

Cool Moon
It's really cool, but I wish it stayed on until I turned it off.

Fun little moon
I love this thing. I have a space nursery and use it as a nightlight for the overnight disper change and feed. It’s on a timer so it turns itself off while I’m breastfeeding and it’s dark in the room when I put baby down. During the day if I’m in here my toddler likes to use the clicker to change moon phases so we talk about he moon and he doesn’t climb on me so I can feed the baby safely. Before I managed to get this on the wall it sat in the playroom for a bit and the toddler sat on it/ stood on it.. you name it and it took the abuse with no issue. 2 years later and batteries are still good. Awesome product! Recommended highly for your space nerd kid or as fun decor!

My toddler loves it! Doubles as a night light if needed
My son loves seeing the moon out in the sky, so he was pleasantly happy to have one in his very own room! I'm working on battling my own perfectionism but also appreciate transparency of what we're buying, so I'll share my nitpicks either way. In the picture posted, you can see the tabs holding the light together attend the edge, as well as the sections of the phases - The remote is very much line-of-site infrared towards the bottom of the moon, so name she you have a good angle with nothing blocking. - The power button does not save the last moon phase and goes back to a full moon, do you'll have to cycle through it there's a certain lighting you like to keep. - The remote is a bit clucky, so cover it with a pillow if you have a light sleeper. None of these nitpicks are deal breakers by any means, highly recommend this!

Have owned for a year! Still Works.
Idk what the bad reviews are about, I’m an ABDL and I love it in my playroom, I fall asleep next to it nightly. I bought this reading the horror stories and glad I took a chance. It DOES stay on the full moon cycle, but that’s the only thing I want it for, don’t care for the moon cycles. Beautiful full moon on my walk with glow in the dark stars and planets, love it.
